Airport Time Shuttle

Usually take the MAX to/​from the airport but missed it by less than a minute and didn’t want to wait the 35 minutes until the next one since service is less frequent when it gets late. By happenstance I crossed the street to where the taxis lined up and the airport person pointed me to the shuttle, telling me it would be half the price of the taxi. The driver was friendly and the price to go all the way home was a reasonable amount (apparently the downtown fares are set at $ 14 – 16 but once you get out of fareless square the price goes up). There was one other person who was going in same direction so we left right away and I managed to make it back to Marquam Hill while the MAX stil hadn’t pulled out of the airport station. Compared to other shuttles which have taken much more time, was good experience.
