It’s… fast food. Nothing super special or exciting. The food is average. The service is average. The price is a little high, but I think that about every fast food restaurant. Eat here in a pinch? Of course. You won’t get food poisoning or anything. Maybe some slight indigestion as we humans shouldn’t be ingesting cheap food all the time lol

The last time I drove back to Portland from Mt. Hood, I was reminded of how much I love Burgerville. Great shakes, especially in the summer! I was also clued in recently that the yogurt smoothie is nearly as good as the shake and I was dubious at first. But it’s true. The seasonal fried veggies/french fries aren’t always good, but I do always like their tasty and reasonably sized cheeseburger.

Its all about the sauce… Get a cheeseburger and just savor every bite. If your going to kill yourself with fast food, do it the tasty way. Skip the 5 guys grease fest and have a Northwest gem. The fries are so so, but hey we come for the burgers… a great 50’s diner style. Order a shake for a real treat!

First time in Oregon and Burgerville was given to me as a recommendation. The burgers are just OK and the fries are just fries. The Shakes on the otherhand are fantastic. If you’re looking for something quick, give them a shot… if nothing else get a milkshake.

Heard A LOT about this place since moving to Oregon and was looking forward to tasting the quality grass fed beef patties, blah, blah, blah. In actuality the burgers are flavorless and in dire need of seasoning. They’re also flat with nothing substantial about them. Sustainability, recycling and the local/organic stuff is all fine and dandy but you gotta deliver on taste. I’m a huge fan of Tillamook products and their cheese is hard to beat but even their heavenly fromage can’t save Burgerville’s sorry skimpy burgers. Totally overrated and overpriced. McDonald’s would have been more satisfying. Seriously. Is the recycling obsessed Burgerville recycling their food waste into new burgers or something?! The ONLY things I would go back to try when they’re in season is the Walla Walla onion rings and the blackberry shakes. Hopefully they don’t screw those up somehow too.

This burgerville has yet to make me unhappy. The customer service, atmosphere, taste, and size of burgers are all very good. Very pleasant and tasty! (PS. If you order a burger with nothing on it, it will be more thin. Fact. Of. Life.) :-p

Half pound cheeseburger is decent. Not wow. 3 pieces of chicken strips look like sorry smaller. $ 5.45 for large onion rings is a joke. In California and Seattle„ u can get large pile size of onion rings for same price. In my opinion, their service is fast and excellent but prices of food seem fairly expensive. .their bathroom is shiny clean but towl paper machine is not work.

Fried Perfection! I always order the Halibut fish and chips well done with extra lemons and tartar sauce. Amazing comfort food. We would visit more often if the price for this meal drops like the other recent menu items. I even got a free mint!

This Burgerville has very friendly employees and surprisingly fast service in the dining room. I love that they have vegetarian options. The burgers and fries are okay and definitely don’t give me that after-fast-food icky feeling. I like that each table has a napkin dispenser, salt & pepper, and ketchup on it to give you that diner feeling. I will admit that everything on the menu is way overpriced, but it’s local and sustainable so I come to Burgerville when it fits into my budget every once in a while.

Ate here once a month, always had a seasonal shake and burger combo. I always get two regular hamburgers and a fry. I know, from experience, that paying a lot of money for the fancier burgers isn’t worth it to me. The burgers are not any bigger really, it’s the fact they’re just special sounding. For me, two regular hamburgers is the price of one burger that’s the same size as one hamburger. So go ahead, order special burgers, but I assure you it’s not the best deal. They’re nothing like a five guys or even a BK. But local and sustainable is why I come back.

My first time coming here, I was excited after reading reviews and talking to people. Roll up to the drive thru and was happy to see quite more of a selection of veggie burgers than I had expected. I have to admit though, I was mostly excited to try these walla walla onion rings that I have heard people rave about. My excitement quickly vanished when I was told they did not have any onion rings. After I was finished ordering and I was given my total, I couldn’t believe my ears. Appearenly $ 3.40 is added onto your meal for sweet potato fries. After receiving my food, I was however surprised by the amount of sweet potato fries there was! They were just how I want my sweet potato fries. My Yukon Bean Burger however, the tomato was not at all ripe, and though the basil gave it a good flavor, it was very dry. It was decent, but I expected better, especially for the price I paid. Maybe it was just the location I tried. I will give this place another chance though.

Usually I enjoy Burgerville, tonight was a far cry from that. My burger tasted like it had sat for hours. The bun was tough and stale and the burger, sorry to say, was dry and flavorless. Very disappointed.

As far as fast food burgers go, this place is solid. However, it’s a far cry from a place like 5 Guys, for example. This specific location had very friendly staff(who were rocking out behind the counter to Soundgarden when I entered.) The physical space must’ve once been something else because the bathrooms were super dated. I enjoyed my meal, and would return.

This place would get a 4 star review on a «McDonalds as a 5 star restaurant» scale, however my standard is higher, and incidentally so are their prices. In a blindfold test I’d be hard pressed to discern a difference between these guys and the big M. Looking at the receipt, however, quickly reminded me when I realized that I had paid almost twice for the same product. The only comforting fact is that they purport to use local products and recycled disposables, which almost makes up for the higher price. Almost. If you’re environmentally conscious, like to pay double for the same product, and enjoy the dull feeling of grease mating with empty carbs in your GI tract, do give this place a try.

Absolutely my favorite place to chow down while coming back to Portland from Mount Hood. I love Burgerville’s commitment to local and sustainable products and their fast food is better than just about any national chain. The Gresham location is a little tough to access from the busy corner of Hogan/242nd and Stark, but it is worth the stop. What the heck else are you going to get in Gresham?! The Burgerville menu is loaded with great fast food burgers and they offer seasonal sides and shakes, including waffle fries, sweet potato fries and milkshakes made with locally-picked berries. I’ve found the drive-thru to be slow, but the service inside is fast enough to provide a bathroom break before grabbing my to-go order and heading back to town.

Burgerville has a flavor all its own. I love the basic cheeseburgers there. The fries are always crisp when I get them and have a decent potato flavor. What more do you need from a french fry? The cool thing about them these days is the rewards card. In your birthday month, they load $ 5 on it. I don’t go here often and was surprised at how quick I had over $ 10 in rewards on my card. Something that was super good was the asparagus grilled cheese they had, however when I saw the calorie fat count, it wasn’t so good anymore. Oh, well… it was still pretty good. This location is clean but they have a tendency to screw up the drive thru orders, I’ve noticed. Other than that, they are worth hitting.

I like this place! Burgerville is a nice alternative to Micky D’s and BK for fast food. They offer sweet potato fries, milkshakes, smoothies, salads, great sandwiches, and burgers! The food here tastes better than the typical fast food joints I’m used to. When I stop here, I enjoy the Tillamook Cheeseburger or Halibut Fish Sandwich with Sweet Potato Fries plus the Caramel Apple Sundae for dessert. The apples are baked in a buttery cinnamon sauce & topped with Ghirardelii caramel, sooo good. Coca Cola soft drinks are self serve and there’s free Wi-Fi is available too(password posted inside restaurant). I can enjoy food that tastes sooo good and so bad for me and check my email at the same time! I’m already missing this place. Burgerville rocks!
