My husband and 8 year old daughter have been taking classes here about 9 mths. My 5 year old recently joined as well.
We really have found it to be a positive environment for our daughters to learn and grow in. They work hard at learning their new skills, but have a lot of fun while doing it. They are very excited when it is karate class day.
I have noticed a huge difference in my oldest daughter’s balance and physical coordination since she started. She has been gently encouraged to persevere in learning difficult new skills. Earning her teacher’s praise and new belt ranks has been very motivating to her.
My husband was a black belt already, but he enjoys going and spending time refining his skills with such an experienced coach to help him.

I started a few weeks ago and had my first free class. So far it has been great! Everybody in the class is very helpful to a newbie like me and there has been no judgement for my being out of shape. You are allowed to work up to the number of pushups and crunches in the beginning and then you start with learning your midlines and how to stand.
Awesome so far. I recommend this to anybody!
