Stopped in here today after hitting several other garden centers. They were the most expensive of all the places I stopped but they also had the best selection and the best quality. I just wish I had looked at Unilocal before I went and saw the 10% off deal. Super helpful and friendly staff!

I love the women that work at this nursery. They are extremely helpful and have a fantastic inventory. I think that their prices are very fair. When I’m looking for a specific plant they always seem to have what I want plus more!

Took a stroll through today, just a little recon mission as the real gardening begins in a week or two. Friendly, helpful staff, lovely-​lush-​healthy plants… at very reasonable prices. Whether your garden is your life, or if you do a small herb thing in a few flower-​pots, you gotta get out of the big-​box store habit and check out the real deal.

Great selection of ground covers, hardy succulents, grasses, shrubs and perennials, including some less-​common stock. Their 4″ pots are a relative steal at $ 2.69 (vs. the increasingly-​common inner-​PDX price of $ 3.99), and the staff’s super-​friendly & knowledgeable to boot. It’s a bit of a haul, but makes for a great detour off of 26 a 84.

I live literally next door to Portland Nursery, and yet I have made the drive out to Deep Creek since I discovered it 4 years ago. They have an awesome selection of plants (that just keeps getting better every year), their staff is highly knowledgable and really treats you like family, and their prices are phenomenal! I don’t shop at Portland Nursery, but sometimes I walk in and look around, and I cannot believe how much more they charge, and they use the same suppliers as Deep Creek. Personally, I’d rather drive 10 minutes down I84 and come home with twice as many (or more) plants! I am so happy to have found this gem of a nursery.
