Greg Baurer Floor Covering

I also have no idea about this man’s workmanship but can tell you he is very rude. I live in a complex that he is working in. I came home this morning to find his big white van parked diagonally blocking two parking spots, including mine. I parked in a visitor spot then went and asked him how long he was gonna be there cuz it was raining and my car leaks, his response was «I know this is your spot but I’m gonna be here awhile, don’t know what to tell you» I informed him I was leaving in an hour, not taking my car and needed to put it in my spot before I left, his response «can’t promise you anything but will see what I can do». He has no consideration for the tenants/​people around him. I know for a fact that his van fits in a single parking spot cuz he did eventually move and is now in one, he didn’t need to take up two spots, nor was his rude attitude nessessary. I will never use this company nor refer anyone to him just based on his rudeness.

I have no idea about whether or not this guy does a good job of covering floors. I do, however, have some experience with the character of the man and his extended family. I just got back from a camping trip to Ocean City State Park just outside Ocean Shores, WA. Our site was right next to the camp site with the big red diesel truck with «Greg Baurer Floor Covering» on the door. These people were loud and, at best, simply unaware of their impact on the camp. They went on loudly past the posted 10pm quiet time. We finally confronted them at midnight. Their response was rude, immature, and mocking. They did notch it back just a little, but still went on loudly until past 1:30am — more than 3 ½ hours after quiet time. I heard others at the camp wash room the next morning talking about these guys. We reported to the Park Ranger Office. I suspect the Ranger stopped by for a talk with them because they were much better the second night — but still the loudest camp in the Park. I honestly think they just had no clue how loud they were and how much they were the object of derision through that entire loop of the campground. Even though they were better the second night, they still launched into loudness at midnight for another half hour. Fortunately for us, we had a third night without them around at all. Finally, peace and quiet.
So, again, maybe this guy does OK flooring work, but if I had a choice that was the same quality and price, I’d go elsewhere just because of how this guy and his family relate to other people in the world and seem largely clueless about it. I noticed another 1-​star review on Google about Baurer. «RN PDX» says on Google reviews, «This is the worst company that I have ever worked with. The owner is rude and flaky, and the work they do is poor quality.» So, maybe the quality of work follows the quality of the man. Caveat emptor.
