sketchy, nobody ever answers the phone or responds to email after booking online. we needed a specific quote and never heard back, so never mind. shoulda looked at these reviews first i guess, instead of the glowing ones on the website

I wish we would have read the reviews on this company first. Turns out the«no show» program is not uncommon. My wife and I sold our home and needed to get moved out this weekend so she booked Pro1movers for an 10:00 — 11:00 am start time. We were patient and waited till 11:15 then started calling. All of our calls went to voice mail and were not returned until almost 2pm. When they did finally call us back they had a song and dance about how it’s was our fault and that we were not in the books for today. Simply put my wife had a reservation number from them. They don’t show up! I strongly advise against using Pro1Movers unless actually moving is not a concern of yours.

Our experience with Pro1Movers was AMAZING. I have had bad moves in the past and was nervous due to a few negative reviews. We tried to start our move day as prepared as possible, and everything went perfect! The movers came a little later than scheduled, but had confirmed earlier in the day, so we weren’t nervous. They moved everything onto the truck without issue and arrived at our new residence shortly after we did. The two movers were polite and friendly and moved all our belongings using a freight elevator without incident. The price was exactly as quoted, which was well below any other quotes we had seen. Great experience! Will definitely recommend.

I am disappointed. I have NEVER had a moving company NOT show up. They were to be here at 2 p.m. for a 2 hour in-house move in prep of having my floors done. I purchased the service from Amazon Local — so they’ve essentially been paid for services never rendered. They earn zero stars — I gave them one so my review would post. I’m working with Amazon to get a refund from the unused service.

The scheduled time was 10am but did not call me until 11 to let me know they were going to be 30min late(11:30); that was a bit frustrating as I had deadlines to meet that day. The crew was pretty cool albeit there was a bit of a struggle when trying to collaborate among the 2-man crew, miscommunication and frustration on their part which made me worry a bit. I also had to tell them how to load the stuff(logistically) to make it all fit. Also, some of the items were haphazardly situated and left some dents on our washer and dryer. I emailed to let them know of the damage a few weeks ago and have yet to hear response – I do not assume to get one at this point. Other than that, it was pretty smooth… Props to the guys for the narrow staircase and bulky items. Did their best to saran-wrap items and tie-down the dresser and TV. Thanks!
