Pup Scrub

I’m back again with two dogs now since we adopted another Golden. Pup Scrub did INCREDIBLE on them. I hardly even recognize them!!!
I especially love the trim they do for Goldens, it really helps in the fall when they get muddy and wet ALL THE TIME.

First time in and they were very nice, fast and efficient.

I’ve had my dog’s nails trimmed here a few times. He is nervous about having it done and fights it, but they still get it done fast.

I have been coming here for about 8 years first Gertie and now Duke. My dogs have thick double coats and require a lot of time on bath day. Bathing, stripping and details. No one minds and on occasion have volunteered to help and exchange ideas. Beats doing it at home. The dogs don’t seem near as neurotic here versus shower at home. Clean facility and pleasant people.

Best around! Wonderful owners that create a fun experience. Excellent onsite groomer as well!

We went in with a new dog that we had just picked up 3 hours before. He had not been socialized and was strictly an outside dog. He is 1 ½, had never had a real bath, been on stairs, been in a home and the list goes on. We came in at 5:15 on a Saturday night and both a gal and a young man were working. They were both very welcoming and seemed to really take an interest in us, our story and our new family member. The young man even came over while we were washing and pet Treo. We will most definitely be going back.

I recently moved back to the Gresham area and started bringing my 4 dogs large here, plus a foster dog. Tonight I came in several minutes before 6:30pm with 1 dog (they close at 7pm) and asked the employee walking from the back if 30 minutes was enough time.
She stated she already turned off the water so I asked her what time you can do the last wash, she said 6:30pm. I then looked at the time on my phone and it was 6:29pm and told her and she simply replied, «sorry».
I understand employees want to get out of work on time but I was very disappointed in the customer service I received and won’t be returning. Petco Unleashed is a little drive but half the price and take their last wash at 8:30pm on weekdays.

I have been coming here since the day it opened. I have never waited, and never received bad service. It is always clean and stocked with whatever you need.
A couple of years ago, we were hiking on Mt. Hood and one of my dogs was sprayed by a skunk — IT WAS AWFUL. I literally called them on the way down the mountain and they had a station and a ‘potion’ all set up for me. Who does that???
Another great thing about this place — the excellent groomer hidden in the back. Kathy is so good with the dogs, and easy to work with.
Complaints? Only one, seems a wee bit pricey, especially the groomer in the back but not too bad.

pup scrub is amazing! my family has been washing our dogs there for a very long time! never going to go to anyone else to have my pups bathed!

If you do (or don’t*) want to groom your own dog this is an awesome place… they have everything to make it easy for you… raised tubs, shampoos, ear cleaner, dryers. raised platforms with neck loops to hold buddy in place while you clip his nails… or even rent clippers to shave him.
* I do not want to groom my own dog… so I have «Cat» the groomer at Pup Scrub do it for me :). She does a fantastic job and she always does exactly as I ask. You don’t feel like you are being «processed» …nice to develop a valued and trusted relationship. I always tip the groomer and you should too… at least you should if they are friendly and do as you asked :)
I drop the kids off once a month and go bop around downtown Gresham… happening scene for any taste… it a bustling little gem of activities these days. Pretty dog friendly area… so if you wash the dog yourself good time to go walk around. Big park at the center for the arts right around the corner… they supply clean up bags at entrance of park :)

I’ve been going here for several years. It’s one of the nicer dog washes in the area. Three kinds of shampoo, cotton balls for the ears, towels and vacc blowers for drying, complimentary perfume. The staff are very friendly.

I dropped my terrier mutt off for a full grooming service with Kathy, she did a fantastic job for a very fair price. Everyone working there was warm and friendly, my often-​skittish dog showed no signs of nervousness or distress when I picked him up.
The self-​grooming area was clean and spacious, I’ll be back to give him a bath or two before he’s due for another fantastic haircut with Kathy.

I have been taking my Sweetie to Pup Scub for the past few years. I have tried other places, but this is the best! There are steps for my big dog to use to climb in to the large, clean tub. There’s plenty of shampoo, conditioner and clean towels to use, as well as a rubber «scrubbie» to help get her clean. The cotton balls and ear wash are handy, too. Pet owners are provided with aprons and the height of the tubs is just perfect… no more strained backs! Then we walk across to the grooming station where there’s a blow dryer, grooming brushes and nail clippers available at no extra charge. As a final touch, Sweetie gets a little spay of «doogie cologne» by the owner. I love coming here because I don’t have to try to get my dog in to the bathtub at home and clean up the mess after we’re done. Pup Scub is large enough to give everybody their «space», yet the staff is intimate and friendly, even calling my dog by her name. Of course she always gets a special treat and a pat on the head before we leave. We love the convenience and location, too. I highly recommend Pup Scub.

this place is great! i moved here from atlanta and was used to having a self serve dog wash nearby. when i got out here it seemed hard to find one. i tried connies on king road (nice but small, you can wait for a while). pup scrub is big and spacious and the staff is very friendly. the tubs were clean and plenty of tools and product. most importantly, the towels were fresh, not smelling of mildew. it was a little more spendy than connies but worth it. i took both of my dogs and left home without their leashes (!!) so the young man at the desk gave me two to use and asked if i needed help. then i purchased nail clip for both and the staff came to check on me when i was almost finished to see if i wanted them clipped yet. the lady was quick and the dogs barely noticed. we’ll be back.

I just took my dog here for the first time today. I have to say they are VERY friendly, the place is spotless. It’s the best self service dog wash I’ve been to. They have 3 kinds of shampoos for all skin types, conditioner with aloe for pups like mine with dry skin, the towels are big and thick, plus I love that my dog fits on the grooming stations. Usually I’d have to dry and brush him in the tub. I definitely recommend Pup Scrub and will be back again!

Fabulous place for bathing dogs who won’t fit in the kitchen sink! We’ve been taking our dogs there ever since the day it opened, and are extremely pleased to have a place like this out in East County. I used to have to go all the way into Portland!
There are three different kinds of shampoo (whitening, hypo-​allergenic, and oatmeal). Cotton balls are provided to clean doggie ears. The employees help the dogs into the wash tubs, then warm the water before you use it on the dog. Conditioner is provided for after the shampoo. There are rubber combs to help remove extra hair, and plenty of towels are provided as well as aprons to keep you dry. When you’re through washing your dog, you take her/​him across the room to the drying table. The employees, all very friendly, help adjust the tie-​down at a comfortable level for your dog.
The dryers have two different speeds, which is really nice. Also provided are combs, rakes, toenail clippers, and scissors.
Pup Scrub’s owners, Diane and David, are two of the nicest people you could find anywhere, and they make sure that all the equipment is in good order. The employees are constantly vacuuming up dog hair, and the whole area is clean as a whistle. Each bath tub is cleaned and disinfected after every single dog.
Dogs are entitled to a treat and a spray with wonderful smelling doggie perfume (we always choose plumeria) if you want.
Pup Scrub also sells dog food, treats, leashes, collars, etc. All prices are very reasonable (we bathe our Australian Shepherd for $ 15), and it’s worth every penny not to have to clean anything up and have no dog hair cruising down into our septic system.
All in all, a fabulous place and highly recommended.
