Rose City Urgent Care and Family Practice

I came here early at 8am for a minor emergency and the receptionist wasn’t there for the first 5 minutes. I chose this place because it was the closest to my house and I needed to be at work at 10am. Then when she came in she asked if I had an appointment. I said no, thinking that would be okay at an URGENT CARE CLINIC. Apparently they only had one provider in the office seeing anybody, and that I should come back at 12:30. What the hell? I understand they are also a family practice than runs by appointment, but why do they even claim to be an urgent care as well when they wont accept patients that need URGENT CARE. I wasted my time and wasn’t able to address my emergency at a different location before work. Maybe I should be grateful that they couldn’t see me, because I wouldn’t be surprised if they couldn’t have offered me the care I needed. At least I didn’t waste my money too.

Don’t go here. I’ve had more problems with this medical office than I have with any medical facility I’ve ever been to. They make the East County Health Center I transferred from seem like Cedars Sanai. From incorrect diagnosis that landed an ER visit to rude staff to a medical assistant by the name of Belinda being outright the most apathetic & rudest medical staff I’ve ever had to deal with. Save yourself & look somewhere else. This place is crap. After my last experience I’m finding a new doctor. No way I’ll come back to this place.

The receptionist got upset with someone and is singing jimmy crack corn and I don’t care. She is now trying to play off that she did not get irritated at customers. There are women hanging out around the patient information, and I dont know if they work here or are family/​friends of the staff. The place smells weird… like cheap construction smell. This is a weird place like going to get checked out in someone’s garage.
With that said it’s good for urgent care
