Tan Republic Gresham Station

I moved from the salem area and had a Tan Republic membership, I didn’t have any problems with the salons there but the ones in Gresham and Troutdale lack customer service and knowledge about lotions. If I had to tan with them still I would go to the mall 205 location. When my mother and I went the beds kept shutting off within a few minutes of starting. Don’t know if they had electoral issues or what was wrong. Like I said this is only the Gresham and Troutdale locations in the salem area I’ve had great luck when Tan Republic so out here it must be a training or ownership issue.

Don’t ever go to ANY Tan Republic. I was charged twice for the same month, a clerical error I’m sure. But when I told Zach at guest relations at their main office that it caused me to be overdrawn and was given fees on my account they said they would not reimburse me for that. It started with a problem at this store, but I cannot believe this is how their company handled it. I will never recommend them.

Agreed on a deal and then when I went in to tan. they didn’t have the amount of tans that I paid for in their system. RIP OFF FOR SURE! !

I love going to this tan republic! Always treated nicely and they know the bed I always prefer. Hardly ever a wait and I love that because I’m a very busy person! They are also pretty good about the cleanliness of the beds and the mini trash cans being empty. Thanks guys !

I’ve been to many Tan Republics and they’re pretty much the same. The girls that work there are always eating, on their phones, or talking to their friends that hang out on the couches while they’re working. I went to this Tan Republic and found a girl asleep in the back room that was SUPPOSED to be working at the front desk. My friend and I didn’t know what to do, so we went in to another store next door for 45 minutes and came back and she was still sleeping! It was RIDICULOUS!!! She finally woke up after we had been talking and she made it seem like nothing happened. It was SOO ridiculous.

Walked into this location twice in past 3 weeks & was told their mystic tan is broken. They told me I’d have to go to a different location and had no clue either time when the machine would be fixed. Gorge said the machine at mall 205 is «better» anyways.

Let me first say that i hate talking bad about any place and maybe they caught me on a bad day but I have to vent about these guys! About the only good thing I can say is the the tanning bed itself was actually pretty decent. First off the lady working the counter was abrupt and treated me like I was a scumbag! I was quoted a $ 7 single tan price from the Tan Republic in Beaverton then when I got here it was $ 13.50. Wrong answer! Then she acted like I was making it up… FAH Q man! So, I was still polite and said well how much is a package… and I’m.sorry but when you say its 49.99 for a month of unlimited tans… ya might want to mention that that’s only if I sign up for a year. So I thought I would think about it, she said the price was only good today and tomorrow she couldn’t give it to me because then I’m not a new customer anymore… and she would have to call corporate if I wanted it at the latest tomorrow. Well… if your so damn worried about the rules then why didn’t you ask me if I had eye protection or have me fill out a new member card to see my tanning threshhold… and what’s funny is I was in her computer from when I went there like 8 years and yet I’m a new Guy? Why didn’t you update my address or number… and what’s even better is I think she is the manager! The room standard I guess but no mirror whatsoever. No music whatsoever and a gross wastepaper basket in the corner. And are you like me? I like to have a little cleaner in the room… juuuuuust in case I don’t trust or like the. condition of the bed… but to be honest the bed was clean… so kudos for that! I don’t know… all in all your going to have to do better than that if you want my money!

This tanning salon is really clean and in a great location. The girls are very young and are usually on their phones or have a boyfriend visiting. They never ask for your goggles. BUT they have great beds and great discounts for members!
