The customer service wasn’t bad, but they sell a lot of junk. I bought a recliner for $ 299 almost exactly a year ago(12−15−14) and it’s has already been rendered useless. The top portion has bent back so you can’t sit in it comfortably, and the reclined back position was always hard to remain«reclined» because you’d had to slide up in the chair to put more of your body weight at the top-if you didn’t you would become«unreclined». Now you can’t even get the top part off. One of their main distributors Washington Furniture Sales cannot be contacted by the phone number Rooms To Go gave me. BEWARE!!!

We needed a sleeper sofa and were near Rooms To Go. Decided to stop by and check it out. The place was a little messy but they had some good sales going on. Our sales guy was nice and wasn’t pushy at all. He showed us a nice looking sleeper sofa for $ 699.00 on sale. I was like«eehh, if it was $ 599,.00 I’d do it, but not $ 699.00″. He didn’t say much and left us alone. A few minutes later he came back and said» Hey guys, I made a mistake, the sale price is actually $ 599.00″ SOLD! We had to pay an extra $ 100.00 delivery fee to get it to our house Uptown. The salesman did say«All sales are final guys.» Sure that’s fine. The sofa was delivered a week later. We were in a hurry checked to make sure it wasn’t damaged but failed to open the bed out. Two weeks pass and we finally are ready to use it. We tried to pull the mattress out and take the plastic off of it but it stuck. I thought maybe something had caught so before pulling any harder I looked at the mechanism. The left side of the mechanism was completely bent like someone had forced it. We called and were told«Sorry, all sales final. Look at your receipt. It says that in bold letters.» «Anything else we can help you with?» grrrrrrrr Why didn’t I look at the Unilocal reviews first!

This place doesn’t even get a single star! Awful customer service. Had problems with delivery, furniture not functioning correctly, and again(I can’t stress this enough) HORRIBLE customer service. Quick example… bought a couch, 30 days later, couch is slumping on the ground. Wooden support was cracked down the middle and clearly had been patched up to before being sold to me. I called to speak to the sales manager to complain, she had suggested I was at fault for not using the couch correctly. Hard to believe considering I am a law student and spend all my time at the library! DON’T SPENDYOURMONEYHERE!!!

half a zero review… I live not to far from this place and decided to check it out because I need to essentially furnish my entire house. I walk in and get asked if I can be helped, I said«just looking» because I had no idea what this place had(no other type of greeting, no qualifying of the customer, etc). So I browse around trying to find anything worth actually buying and taking pictures with my phone to figure out what would match my house’s layout. I’m there maybe 7 minutes and the dickwad«general manager» belligerently accuses me of, «shopping for competitors». I’m assuming the only other competition this place has is Goodwill because they offer no delivery and all the furniture is damaged, repoed, or discontinued items from the manufacturer(his words). Apparently the GM doesn’t know how to train his employees to qualify the customer and make a sale instead of chasing away buyers
