Biscuit Shack

Just passing through, looking for something good, and we found it! The nice lady working the dining room was so sweet and nice. The food was amazing! My husband got the hamburger steak, covered in gravy, not a bite was left. I got a cheese burger, so good. The sweat really is awesome, and I highly recommend the coleslaw.
This is southern at its best. Don’t let the tiny outside fool you, this place is worth it!

Out on a random adventure and found this place on Unilocal.Immediately greeted by a very nice waitress and hit in the face with awesome smells! The place really is a tiny shack, but the smaller the place the better the food.
I asked for a suggestion and was recommended the Fashioned Hamburger Steak (while the waitress was telling me someone called in a to-​go order for the same thing), took her up on it. Sweet tea to drink, and it was the perfect southern style (often a hit or miss at small places as it goes stale quick — tasted like it was brewed 5 minutes ago).
The food was amazing, meat was obviously fresh (not frozen) and gravy made it delicious. Fries were crispy and the coleslaw was undescribable.
They also have homemade desserts: coconut, strawberry, and chocolate cake today. No room left but will be back again!

The Biscuit Shack was a staple while I was a child. I’m proud that my children can now take part in this Griffin landmark!!! The catfish down to the slaw dog are made with love and taste even better!

Where else can you get a home made biscuit with fried Bologna or red links or fried steak, etc? Top quality home style cooking. Great little place!

Just had the Biscuits and gravy, absolutely amazing and well priced! It’s a must visit while here in Griffin if you are looking for good food. Also delicious hashbrowns!

Food was great and not to costly. Chili was amazing and so is the chicken salad. GREAT OVERALL!!!

Wonderful old fashioned atmosphere. We just had a patty melt & grilled pimento cheese with fries, but they were both very good. Can’t wait to try the breakfast. Everything reasonably priced.

Step back in time. Its 1950!
Good food (think Waffle House but not a chain), friendly service, weird locals, all in a shack! You know your in Georgia here!
