Very small animal shelter. Surprisingly, the shelter didn’t smell too bad. ASPCA in Harlem smells worse. Everybody there seems to care for the pets. Unfortunately, it’s a kill facility so please adopt their dogs if you can. The animals living quarters are very small and the facility looks dirty. I think because of what it looks like, it may persuade people not to adopt their dogs because they are not«presentable». We came down here to visit this place because we wanted to trace the roots of our currently rescued dog. We got him from North Shore Animal League in NYC and they told us that they picked him up from this place about 2 years ago. They currently have 2 mother dogs with pups, about 4 – 5 pups each. I hope they all find a home soon before their scheduled expiration date.
