I was so happy to find out Grosse Pointe got a juice place only to be disappointed. My friend and I went there and saw they had acai bowls on the menu (awesome!) we waited about 5 minutes for our order and were very disappointed. The bowl was really a small plastic cup. The acai was hardly blended up and they loaded most of the cup with seeds and not smoothie! The taste was good but NOT worth $ 7.50. I will not be going back!

We really like this place, but unless you are a student, avoid lunch hours (and tons of high school kids)!
They have a nice menu, and the staff is very friendly! We go here for late lunch very often, and really enjoy the area!
I most often get a smoothie, a green juice for work, and a cookie when no one is looking. The cookies and several of the snacks come from Happy Belly bakery, and supports local businesses. However, several of the snacks are made in-​house… so be sure to look for them!
Again, we always try to support LOCAL, and SUPPORT OUR COMMUNITIES… we suggest you do the same!

I purchased a Groupon for a one day juice cleanse. I called ahead to inform them of the day that I will be by and it was all ready for pickup when I arrived. I didn’t get a chance to try anything else, but they do have an assortment of healthy snacks. The juices were pretty good. During my cleanse, I felt that everything they gave me in the package was enough for me to last for that day. I will be back to try some of their other goods!

I walked in to buy a cup of coffee and ended up waiting behind a smoothie order. After nearly 10 minutes watching the employee trying to make the smoothie, taste testing it and adjusting the mixture, I decided this wasn’t the place to buy anything.

JHouse is so fantastic-​fresh organic juice, healthy sandwhiches, and an amazing line of local paleo treats from Happy Belly Bakeries in Royal Oak! Yay-​thanks for making it a fitter mitten state ;)

Did the three day cleanse and they made it really easy. Stopped in each morning and they had everything I would need for the day. Felt great. Great place.
