Steve was extremely kind and very thorough. I encourage shadowing him during the inspection, he is happy to explain everything that he is looking for and why. The report we received the next day included great detail and explanation with plenty of photos. I highly recommend his services and hope to call him again when doing future house work.

I had a FANTASTIC experience with Aapex Home Inspections! Since I am relatively new to the home buying game, I wanted to make sure I went with a company that knew what they were doing, without overcharging. I didn’t know that in the state of Michigan, you don’t have to be licensed to do home inspections; so I truly lucked out when I found Aapex.
The owner, Steve, agreed to meet me for a 7:00 AM appointment on a Saturday — that in itself is impressive; but what was even more impressive was Steve himself! He is smart, thorough, and very patient, and answered every one of my (dozens) of questions during the inspection. He suggested I walk through the home with him as he took pictures, and explained what to look for, and what wasn’t important. He really took his time, and after we were done, I felt I had a much better understanding of my home-​to-​be.
Within 48 hours, I was emailed a lengthy report of his findings, along with several pictures to illustrate what he was talking about. On top of it all, he is very competitively priced. I would highly recommend Steve and Aapex home Inspections to anyone who is looking for one!
