While the nail tech who helped me was super sweet and the receptionist was also very helpful and kind on the phone… I wouldn’t return to this establishment.
Granted, I should have asked for the prices before having work done, but I couldn’t believe the $ 73 bill for an acrylic overlay and shellac polish.
I didn’t even get a full manicure.
Also, the acrylic application was shoddy at best.
The 7 year old boy I care for even saw how uneven my nails looked.
When you charge such high prices, (which I would normally gladly pay) I believe the service (and establishment) MUST reflect this 100%.

a very sweet, comfortable shop. Friendly and non-​pretenscioius. And Cathy, for me personally, hairdresser beyond compare! She truly «gets» my hair. I have received a multitude of compliments from all kinds of people, including highly critical relatives and other hairdressers. Definitely recommended.

Nice little salon… very friendly staff. Always accommodating. Kathy is great… especially if you have short hair.

I love this place. Rita gives an excellent hair cut. I tend to go a long time between cuts and still get comments like, «Did you just get your hair cut?» even 2 months later. It always grows out well because it was cut by a true professional. I’ve had others cut my hair here, too, and they do a good job always. Still, Rita is unbeatable.
I’ve had the works at Mes Amies and have never been disappointed!
IMPORTANT UPDATE: As of 12/​31/​2014, Rita is no longer at Mes Amies so I no longer use their services.

Pretty good salon if your looking for a place that isn’t expensive but has a nice salon feel. I always go here when I’m in town and find the staff friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating.
