This store is great! They always are welcoming esp CJ. Ready to order for anything that needs special ordering. Awesome place to buy and get great service. Cj is always smiling:)

Most every item in the store is marked one dollar lower than what you will be charged. Most people don’t notice the difference; but I did, and they still charged me a dollar more than the price posted on the shelf. Forget bad customer service: here you receive NO customer service. I won’t be back.

I live very close to the Grapevine, but even if I didn’t, it would be my package store of choice. I love good wine, and the owners of this place are not only knowledgeable, but are extraordinarily helpful and have a wide variety of wines in a variety of price ranges. They hold an annual wine tasting at the Shanecosset (sp?) Yacht Club, which we attended this summer. The proceeds went to a local animal shelter and we had a great time. The space in the store in mostly dedicated to wine, so the liquor and especially the beer selection are limited, but I’d rather spend my money there than across the street. If i’m looking for beer, I typically go elsewhere, but The Grapevine has some good standbys and seasonal variety packs.

The Grapevine is my choice for purchasing wine/​beer in the area. The owner (Peter) and his staff are very friendly and helpful. They will steer you in the right direction and will happily order things for you if not in stock or they don’t happen to carry.
They are very grateful of their customers and will thank you each and every time you make a purchase.

What a great place! Everyone in the store went above and beyond! They helped me to find what I was looking for, and carried it to the car! Large wine selection, good stuff! A++ for customer service!

For some reason, Groton CT is full of cheap liquor stores (excuse me, Package Stores) which seem to cater to those who just want to get drunk and all the wine they seem to know is white Zin.
This little store is the saving grace for any true wine lover who happens to be in the area. They have free wine tastings in which they discuss the wines and what you like, the owners are super friendly and go out of their way to help you find the perfect wine for you occasion. Highly recommended.
