So about two weeks ago I took my car to Sears Auto(at the mall) to have an oil change and a routine multi point inspection done($ 20), the inspection turned up about $ 1500-$ 2000 worth of work that needed to be done which they said included brakes all around, two wheel bearings, and new tires. So I simply went with the oil change because I knew my car was running rough… but definitely not to the point where it was going to fall apart spontaneously(as they portrayed). Fast foward to Monday of this week… My car wouldn’t start(aren’t Monday’s awesome!), so I made a stop at schara(because of my family’s recommendation) to arrange service for my car. I was really impressed during my initial conversation with them, so I decided to go ahead and fix the things that Sears had put into their report a week earlier. Schara then arranged the towing of my car to their shop, and within 30 minutes of visiting their shop my car was picked up by a local tow guy and work began! Come to find out, it was just a very very very drained battery(not the starter which I thought I was) and in regards to the recommendations that Sears made all I ended up needing was rear brakes. Why I rate this business a 5⁄5 is because Schara had a big opportunity to get a few extra dollars from me to do work that didn’t need to be done, and I find this(honesty) to be a rare at garages(EX. Sears). They did the needed work at a very reasonable price AND they even washed my car. It was a great experience, thank you Schara!
