AMC Grove City 14

My favorite theater in town. It is always spotless, the parking lot is laid out for easy, enter and exit, and there are lots of restaurants nearby. The manager and staff are outstanding and very courteous. Each theater has comfortable seating and great view from anywhere. The sound and picture are superior! What’s not to like?

This was my first time at this theatre. I thoroughly enjoyed the 3D IMAX Experience. The concession stand was staffed adequately and the wait was minimal. The seats were very roomy and comfy. I will be back and at 8.99 per ticket I’ll be back soon.

Great theater. The staff is always helpful and nice. The movies always have great picture and sound. The snacks are in line with other movie theaters. Nice seating, also.

This is a very clean and often lightly attended theater. The IMAX screen is large with comfortable seats and assigned seating. Concessions are decent but nothing special. As one reviewer mentioned earlier, you do occasionally have to deal with people «stealing» a screening, but that usually isn’t a problem. I did have to chase a guy with no ticket out of our seats for an IMAX screening of Interstellar last weekend. He tried to claim there were no assigned seats, but, when you buy tickets online or at the window, you are required to pick your seats for IMAX. It was a minor irritation, but confronting a jerk about taking my seats is not something I enjoy doing at the theater. AMC should better police their ticketing.

Pretty decent theater with friendly staff. Prices are fair, considering there’s little competition nearby, but during a soft moment during the movie, all you can hear is the racket in the next theater of explosions and yelling, presumably from the film next door.

Not my favorite theater… but not without its charm. This AMC has the very unique distinction of almost never having an attendant to check your tickets and direct you to the correct auditorium. This is advantageous if you enjoy stealing movies. We do not. As such the disadvantage to customers who like to pay is that your experience can be hampered by an influx of fellow moviegoers whose investment in watching the film is diminished by their lack of actual financial investment. The facility itself is mostly clean, the staff reasonably courteous and the snacks appropriately high margin. The seats have the convertible armrest to allow for cuddling. As the crowds here are in our experience typically small this is a plus. Pay for the movie– not the snacks.

Really great sound, awesome menu at the concession stand, great picture, awesome and friendly staff, great manager.
This place is my back up theater to when I have time to see a movie, but don’t have the time to make it to my favorite theater. I’m not saying this place sucks in comparison.
Just saying I’m glad to see a theater that gets it right with everything.

Newer, cleaner, roomier, well rounded AMC. Has IMAX, Real-​D 3D, and traditional 2D viewings. Price for drinks is average for any AMC. Most of this review is based on the IMAX.
The IMAX room was nice, clean, large in size, reclining seats, and viewing levels are staggered enough so if there is a 6ft+ tall person they won’t be blocking half the screen. The sound was great, but seemed extremely loud, much like a night club. Now I am not sure if this is a routine fiasco with the volume, or if the volume was purposely that loud, but with that being my only complaint, I’m not complaining at all.
I would definitely come for more showings. Conveniently located off of Stringtown right by 71N/​S.
There is also many restaurants nearby to have a dinner and a movie night to cheap overall cost down.
If you’re near Grove City and want to see a flick, stop here if your looking for a nice theater.

The sound and picture quality was great, and the customer service was fairly good for a movie theater. My only issue is the outrageous ticket prices. But I expect when I’m paying $ 9 a ticket to get what I pay for, and nothing disappointed.
