Grant Family Practice Center Southwest

I have 2 children. A 7yr old and an 11 month old. I take them here to get shots. Long story as to why.(it’s a last resort to avoid waiting 3 hrs at the health dept). This place is clean though dreadfully depressing the staff are overall friendly. I’ve only seem 1 dr there and he’s a resident. It always seems dead quiet there, like theres no activity. Their overall knowledge and confidence seems severely lacking. I’m an lpn so I may be biased but I’m not impressed at all w the way that practice is ran. I can’t stand going there. My 11 month old got his shots and had a big knot in his leg for 2 months bc the med assistant failed to massage the area as she was supposed to. Also, they are SO SLOW! One appoinment takes 2 hours. Pretty ridiculous. Especially when they see that I have an infant. I’m not going back.

The office staff is completely unorganized. There is absolutely no communication between the doctors and the staff. On multiple occasions they failed to followup or complete tasks that the doctor’s told me would take place.
I grew up in the area and attended this office for years. I’m not sure why I stayed. I saw many different doctors. Only one was great, but he now resides in Connecticut. Some were okay, but Dr. Chopra was terrible.
I’m not going to go into specifics, but I don’t think I’ve ever been treated so poorly in my life. Dr. Chopra is degrading and rude.
I’m not sure why I’m giving them two stars instead of one, but I wouldn’t recommend this office.
