Meijer in Grove City is everything on would expect in a quality store. A nice selection of products, a helpful and cheery staff, and lots of checkout lanes open and ready. The store is clean and well lit. I find that many of the products here are either cheaper or the same price as Wal*Mart.

Its like an upscale Walmart if you will, but the grocery food value is not as good as a Kroger. Great for picking up housewares and even clothes, but I wouldnt shop in the grocery section again.

Our go to store for grocery and stuff around the house. Always open with good prices and(usually) good service. Free cookies for the kids in the bakery and $.01 mechanical horse rides on «Sandy» at the front.

When I am looking for produce, THIS is where I come. They have the largest and the best selection available. Other stores winter produce is bland and mushy. I realize there was another review here regarding birds in the store and them possibly having«accidents» on the produce, but my thought on that is: Do you think your fruits and vegetables are grown in a bird-free environment. Do you think that birds in nature aren’t pooping on your fruits & vegetables? Any consumer should be washing their fruits and vegetables before consumption. There are always birds in every store, they come in through the front doors then can’t find their way out. There is really no way around it. I have never seen bird poop on anything here. I also think their general merchandise selection is very extensive. They have the cheapest windshield wiper blades I can find anywhere in town. They are the only store I’ve been able to find food grade coconut oil in and they are the only store that carries our preferred brand of dog food in a larger size bag. I also like the Meijer Perks program. When you sign up for a Perks card, a portion of the proceeds from your order go to a charity of your choice. We selected a humane society, but there are other organizations like Boy/Girl Scout troops, local high schools, church groups etc. I think it’s a really neat idea to give back to the community. My only complaint is, I think they should discontinue their live pets section or hire someone who has some sort of knowledge regarding fish. Every time I walk past the fish tanks, they are so completely green with algae you cannot see through one side and out the other. This sort of department should be left best to specialty stores.

Has great potential but since they did not possess what I required I have to unfortunately remove a star and even though our helper was great and super friendly I just think that it was beyond cruelty to have that man walking up and down the isles with his clearly deformed feet and he was obviously in tremendous pain but I guess he is very much reliant on this job that is the only reason why no more stars have been taken away

I used to be a fan of this store, but have changed my mind. Recently the stock has been lacking, seem to be out of products. You have to be careful when buying any canned goods. I think the workers that stock the canned goods beat them with hammers before they put them on the shelf. I purchased a block of cheese from the store that had been expired for at least one month. The store is always full of birds. Most recently I counted at least 8 birds sitting up in the ceiling area over the produce section. It concerns me that these birds may be having«accidents» all over the produce. The candy aisle was blocked by 4 birds hopping around that section, and I won’t fight birds to go down an aisle. Cashier was not friendly at all. I spent $ 200 and she practically threw my receipt at me and didn’t say a word. I think that was my last visit, lower prices or not, I’m done.
