In town for graduation; came here with the family. There’s a severe lack of quality food/dining in Grove City heh, but Nonni’s is apparently one of the better places to be found here… so I’m giving it a four star review based on the area. Ambiance was lovely– the interior is elegant with an old-world vibe, but still feels homey. We ordered from the dinner menu. — Nonni’s minestrone soup — 2⁄5 Split-peas, corn, carrots, tiny pasta balls; to be honest this was quite bland/watery. My grandma tasted it, poured in some vinegar from her salad, and then tried it again: «Much better.» — Chicken cutlet salad — 3⁄5 This was a salad with romaine lettuce, topped with a fried chicken cutlet and sprinkled with mozarella. I got oil and vinegar dressing on the side. The salad elements were rather basic but the chicken was delicious– moist and well-seasoned. — Flat iron samudigu — 5⁄5 Off the special entrée menu. The steak was juicy and tender, with a nice hint of zestiness from the glaze/drizzle on top. — Lasagna — 4⁄5 Other friend ordered this– it’s a hearty portion, layered with meat, marinara sauce, and ricotta. He said it was delicious. — Pasta and meatballs — 4⁄5 This is your typical Italian pasta dish– the plating was kind of messy tbh, but there was a lot of sauce so that’s okay. The spaghetti was very well-cooked and the marinara was fresh and obviously homemade. Service was great– friendly and professional. I had to wait quite a while for my salad(somehow it took longer than the steak and pasta dishes) but the waitress was really nice about it and kept checking in the kitchen for me. They give you Italian bread with butter as an appetizer and refill the basket throughout the meal.(The old lady who I assume was) Nonni was incredibly sweet and hugged us as we were leaving the restaurant. Overall I’d recommend coming here if you’re looking for a nicer place to bring family to get homestyle Italian food in the area.

Excellent food. Nice people. David’s home made pasta was delicious and the lamb was the best we have had. Logan was a nice guy with great food choice recommendations. Nonni’s is a jewel we found passing through town.

Really like this place. Only downfall is that it’s a little salty and I don’t care for the homemade pasta(I’ve tried it a couple of times and it is just too soggy for my liking) or the house dressing(very overpowering). Other than that, service is wonderful — very professional, but homey — and and the wait is always worth it. The lasagna is to die for!

Best Italian restaurant in the area! Owners go out of their way to make sure you are happy, the desserts are to die for, and you just got to meet Noni’s !

Nicely situated on a corner across from Grove City College, this family owned trattorea without indoor and outdoor is very pleasant. Meet Nonni. Menu is not large but food good, fair portions and much home made. A nice place to done outside at on a fall homecoming weekend or to take your college children to.

So inconsistent. We tried once when they first opened and truly disliked it. Several years later, we gave it another shot. Had a couple good dinners. It’s nothing to write home about, but due to a dearth of other options, we’ve been there more frequently. They need better salads on their menu. The caprese is bland. Tomatoes are tasteless. At the height of summer when locals are literally giving away homegrown tomatoes, there’s no excuse for tasteless tomatoes, with barely an entire leaf of fresh basil. Mozzarella was good. Meatballs are pretty good. It’s too much garlic though. And that is saying A LOT for me. I’m Italian and I love to cook with garlic, but I don’t like leaving a meal and feeling all cotton– mouthed and dehydrated I need to brush my teeth. Like the salt-garlic combo is too much. I would not bring people here from out of town. We choose it because we’re not in the mood to really go anywhere and it’s there.

After shopping at grove city we decided to stop here for something different and I’m glad we did. We got an Italian hoagie, fried zucchini, and pasta aglia e olio. The marinara sauce was super good. There’s a lot of little shops around the restaurant and on Thursdays in the summer there’s a farmers market until 6. After the meal we even got the best kind of gelato, free gelato for their 5 year anniversary. It’s a 10 minute drive from the outlet malls if you aren’t feeling a chain.

Moved to the area 10 years ago from Pittsburgh and have been in search of good Italian food… it took 10 years but we found it! They use the great Locatelli and their sauce is SO good! And do not miss the tossed salad, stuffed shells and finish it off with some canoli. Camile and her staff are warm and friendly. I could have stayed all night! Will be back very soon…

We went up to the outlets last night and wanted to avoid the food court. Instead we drove into Grove City and wandered into Nonni’s. It was late and we were their last couple in. What a wonderful place. It has the best of Western Pennsylvania service style –welcoming without being over the top. I had the chicken parmesan, yum with a side of home made pasta. David and Camille, brother and sister team who are owners were so nice. David was cooking but came out to check on us. I highly recommend it.

Had a fantastic meal! For starters, the fried zucchini was not over-breaded or greasy, and the mushroom stuffed ravioli was out of this world! The ravioli was so hearty! The house dressing is very light and not overpowering. My guests had chicken parmesan and chicken alfredo. The linguine was excellent and not drenched in the alfredo sauce. The chicken parmesan was plentiful and very tender. My family and I will definitely return!!!

Had a great meal… Gorgonzola stuffed ravioli and mushroom stuffed ravioli. Pleasant atmosphere and friendly wait staff. My guest had chicken parmesan and portion large enough to take home for dinner tomorrow. Great Italian food from cherished family recipes.

What a wonderful experience! We got to meet Nonni! She’s a sweet woman that cooks her Italian food from scratch! The noddles and the lasagna are beyond delicious! Overall amazing service and the food was utterly perfect! Best place to eat in grove city!

I am a repeat customer to this restaurant and I honestly can say I won’t be returning. This last visit really disappointed me to the point where I don’t feel as though this establishment can turn it around in my eyes for these reasons: Every time I go to, there is a dish that has ran out. The past few times, that dish was the dish I intended on ordering. You would think that since this is a reoccurring issue they would be ready and make more but they make the majority of their meals earlier in the day so they do not have to make things on the spot. The music/atmosphere for a slightly upscale Italian restaurant is a very important detail to consider. Usually, you would expect to hear some Italian music but I have only experienced that on a rare occasion. I do not mind when they play some Rat Pack/crooning because it adds to a relaxing atmosphere. Tonight, it was a mix of indie/alternative and obscure pop which was very off putting. You expect the authentic Italian atmosphere upon entry and I have not received it. Lastly, portion sizes. My first visit was my best visit. I ordered the Chicken Cacciatore and it was delicious! I have ordered it a number of times since, each one being worse and worse. The first one I had was on their largest dinner plate with three braised pieces chicken covered in the sauce, celery, peppers and mushrooms. It was delightful and I didn’t mind the $ 14.95 for that large of a dinner. Recently, they decided to shrink the portion down, which I agree was probably a smart decision for how large the former was. But, that being said, the price did not decrease with the portion size. The Cacciatore I had tonight was the smallest I have ever gotten and yet paid the same price. It was completely underwhelming. It was a little undercooked, definitely did not cook in the sauce long enough because the chicken was also dry. Just a constant decline since the first visit. The service has always been good. The only consistent part of my experience.

This was a lovely corner Italian restaurant! It was completely empty for our entire dinner, so my take on the ambience was great! Our waitress was extremely helpful and shared her opinions, not only on the food at this restaurant, but on other restaurants in the area as suggestions for our next meal. I ordered the house salad and house-made cheddar broccoli soup, along with a side of meatballs(I needed to try the best-seller). The meatballs were very tasty, but the sauce was on the sweet side. It actually needed the starch to balance it out, which I later found out after testing a friend’s mushroom ravioli. The house italian dressing came mixed in the salad, and that I didn’t mind, but the dressing itself was heavy on the vinegar. Not my favorite. The soup was FANTASTIC! The were serving cannoli and gelato for dessert, so I mixed the vanilla and chocolate gelato for the sweet at the end. Very good, but not top notch. All in all, excellent service, cute atmosphere, and a repeat stop when we return.

Nonni’s is where you should eat if you want home cooked, authentic Italian cuisine. Their pesto, when in season, is some of the best I’ve had. They also have home made pasta. The service is great here and the staff is warm and welcoming. The restaurant also has a bar with a derby beer selection.

Excellent service, homemade pasta was very good. Everything else was barely above average and the sausage in the stuffed banana peppers should have come with a hazmat suit, it was so spicy. I’ve had better Italian.

This is an incredible restaurant. It looks modest and inviting on the outside, and the dining room is clean and well-maintained. The food is stunningly delicious. I ordered the chicken cacciatore with minestrone soup. The soup was unlike any minestrone I’ve ever had. The menu describes it as a vegetable soup with a split pea base. That does not begin to do justice to this stunningly good soup. The base was more like a broth than a thickened split-pea purée, but there was a hearty amount of pea purée in the soup. Every spoonful exploded with the bright flavor of FRESH vegetables. I’ve never tasted a soup that was so unmistakably fresh and vibrant. The chicken cacciatore appeared to be braised with green peppers, celery, garlic, and other spices. The flavorful braising liquid imparted a fantastic flavor to the meat. My only small quibble is that the braising technique tends to dry the chicken breast a bit more than I like. But the dish comes with a breast, thigh, and leg, and the dark meat in the thigh and leg remains moist and succulent at the relatively high temperature used in braising. The chicken was served with a side of pasta, which was decent. The marinara sauce popped with flavor. It was a touch salty for my taste. If the serving of pasta was larger, I probably would have mentioned the saltiness to the server, but in this case, it was bearable. Service was nearly impeccable. Our server(the grandson of the cook) was patient with all special requests, and kept water glasses filled. When he mistakenly brought me the chicken soup instead of the minestrone, he graciously fixed the mistake and apologized. I should mention that we were the only people eating in the restaurant at the time. In a busy restaurant with a full dining room, it would be reasonable to expect that a server might not be able to provide the same level of personal attention. Regardless of small imperfections, this restaurant is excellent, and I highly recommend it.

My now husband and I decided to get married with about 2 weeks notice. We had a group of about 15 guests. Nonni’s staff, specifically Camille, David and Alexia were a joy to work with. They accommodated all of our requests flawlessly. All of our reception guests were thrilled with their meals — the appetizers, entrees and the phenomenal and BEAUTIFUL wedding cake that Camille made for our celebration. Camille executed what we wanted perfectly. We could not have asked for a better atmosphere for this special occasion. Everything felt very homey and inviting. The staff felt genuinely excited for us and every one was warm and inviting. Everything was just perfect. Although it was a very small wedding and reception, the staff at Nonni’s treated all of our requests and guests with the utmost care and concern. We were so impressed with everything: the food, atmosphere and staff. We definitely plan on going back, again and again, whenever we are in the area!

This is one of my top two restaurants in Grove City. I ordered takeout — an oyster sauce tossed with linguine, garlic bread, and salad with their house dressing. The oyster sauce was rich, creamy and the oysters were soft and delicious. The portion was a perfect size for how rich it was. Anymore and I may have gotten into trouble and any less may not have been enough. Perfect. The garlic bread was pretty crispy, but tasty. While waiting in the shop for my dinner, I struck up a conversation with Chamille(sp?), one of the owners and Nonni, the person who the restaurant is named after. She was sampling a brand new menu item that I wish I had been able to order — lobster ravioli. It looked and smelled great. Anyway, the conversation was enjoyable. The staff here was also friendly and conversational. The service was fast and very professional. I love restaurants like this. I will probably dine in next time to get the full experience of this great little restaurant. In summary, with tip my order came out to about $ 25 for one person and I absolutely feel that I got my money’s worth.
