First of all, I hate writing 1 star reviews. And long reviews can sometimes be hard to read. But it comes down to the fact if someone asked me if I would recommend shopping at this store(or using T-Mobile in general) I would have to say absolutely not. And FYI, like most other locations in the US, none of the«T-Mobile» shops in Columbus are actually owned by T-Mobile. They’re owned/operated by Vision Wireless, which means if you attempt to contact customer service regarding any issues, what they tell you vs what the store tells you is often completely different. It’s often a case of back and forth, the left hand never knowing what the right is doing. My husband and I went in September 29, 2014. My husband’s contract was up, I had one more year — both through Verizon. We were pretty quickly greeted by a sales representative, Alex Moore, who right off the bat made a few snarky comments about Apple products and Apple users being on «the Kool Aide.» The smart thing to do here would have been to walk out, but we were desperate to get out from under Verizon. Long story short, we were told T-Mobile would buy out my contract and we could both get the phones we wanted that day. However, the gold one I wanted was not available, but«A new shipment would come in 3 – 5 business days and the manager Ryan/Bryan said if you buy the silver iPhone now, when the gold one comes in, we will make the exchange and waive your restock fee.» We bought the silver phones and went home. Here it is, November 5th and we’ve called probably every other day, emailed customer service(got no response) and still no phone. Every time we speak to Alex, he is completely indifferent and tells us «there are no gold phones in Columbus.» We have been REALLY patient thus far, but today my husband reached the point where it is starting to really irk him off, so he began calling around to other stores. He just got off the phone with 3 different sales people at 3 different stores and was told, verbatim: «They can order them, it would take about 2 weeks. We only got the 64g and 128g for the initial launch and from here on out, all the stores will only carry the 16g and the higher gig models need to be ordered. ALL the stores should know this because it’s the same thing that happened with the 5S release last year.» I realize this is a «first world problem»… but frustrating nonetheless. I feel like these guys would have promised me a pink unicorn in order to sell me that plan. How’s T-Mobile’s actual service? It sucks. Unless we stay in Franklin Co., we have no service, and even in the 614 it’s sketchy! We have about 5 dropped calls per day, including an international call from my husband’s father in Australia. Sure, they have«unlimited data» HOWEVER, after 3 gigs of 4G, it’s then throttled down to 2G. We were told their 2G is «equivalent to Verizon’s 3G.» Nothing could be further from the truth. That’s like comparing dial-up internet to a fiber optic network. And music streaming supposedly does not count toward your data limit. But somehow I blew through the 3 gigs in the first 15 days of my first month. My husband and I didn’t use 3 gigs COMBINED on our plan together on Verizon. Sure, there’s no contracts! You can leave anytime you want! However, you have to pay off the full price of your phone($ 600+) before you bail out. My husband just got off the phone with Corporate, hoping to order the phone through them. They informed him that«it is past the 14 day buyer’s remorse period. The only people that can help you now is the store that you bought it from and if they won’t honor their word, there’s nothing corporate can do about it.» The decision is yours, folks. Don’t say I didn’t warn you. Good luck!

I’m very pleased with this T-Mobile store. They are fast and friendly with their customer service, each time I’ve come in they’ve offered great support for my more complicated issues and have helped steer me in the right direction. The store itself is clean, organized, and well stocked. I’ll definitely return to this store in the future.
