I’ll try to keep it short. The appetizer«armadillo eggs«was awesomeness. After that nothing else stood out. My lime margarita was warm. The steak on my #25 was tough and grizzled. Tasted more like liver and most of it had to be cut away bc it was inedible. However, the meal was huge and I shared it with my hubby. The chicken was good. The rice and beans average. The chips tasted fresh and the salsa was good.

This place was really good. The salsa was delicious and more authentic than usual for this area. Hubby had carne asada beef tacos – delicious, and I had the 3 different enchiladas – the chili one was amazing. Nice little find in Grove! Will definitely be back for more!

The first time I went here was with a group of co-workers. We had actually called ahead to reserve a table, as we knew the space is limited, and we were a big crowed. We got there and they said someone had called and cancelled our reservation. We asked everyone and no one did, but we were lucky enough to get there just as a bunch of people were leaving anyway. The food was excellent. I can’t remember what I had exactly, but it was either a quesadia or an enchilada. I thought it was very good. The second time, I took my mom and I still thought it was very good.

Great salsa-full of cilantro and yummy queso. Wasn’t crazy about the enchilada’s but the 2001 chicken burrito was pretty good with diced chicken breast instead of what can feel like canned shredded chicken.
