A little late as I just got this app but I paid a deposit for a cabin for my daughters birthday in the summer of 2012. We found out that there was some kind of algae in the lake that was making people sick and even some died. This was In many lakes because of the heat, Grand Lake included. Because we have children of course we weren’t risking it! We were told by The manager that«it wasn’t in their area of the lake». Ridiculous. I asked for a refund. I was told its non refundable although when I paid on the phone I wasn’t told that. Long story short they offered to let me reschedule… But the only dates they had were in November and December. That defeats the purpose of renting jet skis and swimming off the dock now doesn’t it. They refused any refund and wouldn’t allow me to reschedule for a year in advance. Nothing after that calendar year. So 100+ deposit thrown away. Very bad customer service and it took a week to reach the so called manager only after I reported them to the BBB did I get a call back.
