Hick Daddy Smoke now I guess. I really enjoy the BBQ items; especially the brisket. They have to lose a star for not serving the entire menu at all times. Call ahead to see if your favorite BBQ items are still available. I had a great experience enjoying their calzone. I love the HICKMOMMA sauce and like the HICKDADDY sauce. That is just my preference. I would be very surprised if they came out of a bottle. They also could spend $ 100 at the Vincent De paul thrift store and seriously improve their furniture in the dining area. I love dives but they need to improve the furniture inside. Folding card tables and folding plastic chairs is a big much when eating out. Just put some picnic tables inside if we are a BBQ place now. They are cheap, effective, and good for a BBQ joint. The outdoor seating is great and dog friendly.

We had pizza from here last night and it was just ok. A little expensive for a large and medium total cost was $ 32…I’ve been trying all the local pizza places Little Anthony’s is my top pick so far. but to each their own.

I stopped in here with some friends, as we were driving through Groveland. The staff was all young, maybe late teens or early 20’s. They were all very friendly, cool and professional with us, from the waitress to the cook. I ordered their naked(they had breaded too) lemon pepper wings and garlic knots. My friends ordered Calzones(I can’t comment on) and cheesy bread. The lemon pepper wings were deep fried. I usually don’t like deep fried wings, but these were actually OK, and had a decent lemony taste. I wasn’t asked for ranch or blue cheese, and frankly forgot to ask. The garlic knots were mostly bread and I don’t remember much of a garlic taste. They came with a side of nice and chunky marinara sauce, which helped. I had some of my friend’s cheesy bread and it was very good. It looked more like pizza, but without the sauce. We also all had a couple rounds of beer. They had about 4 beers on tap, most being Budweiser products and a Woodchuck hard cider. I opted for a Shocktop I originally wanted a couple slices of pizza, but they only served by the slice on weekdays before 3PM, and this day was a Saturday. If I happen to drive through here again, I wouldn’t mind stopping in again.
