Best Chinese food that I have found since being here in Georgia. Take out was quick and the food was great. I got General Tso Chicken combo. Still hot, full of flavor and good portions. Great prices. Definitely going back more than once.

Take out only, really, because there’s only 2 tables. Food is always hot and very tasty, with generous portions. I recommend calling ahead when possible, because no matter what day of the week it is, they always seem to be busy with orders. First Chinese place to be a hit with every member of my family, which is difficult b/c my kids are picky eaters(and so is my wife).

Good little chinese joint out in grovetown. I ordered the sesame chicken and it was good for the price. The amount of food that you get here is probably the most you’ll get in the area. I got 2 meals off of one combo plate. The egg rolls and cream cheese rangoons are good as well. I wouldn’t say it is super high quality chinese food, but for the price and sheer amount of food that you get I can’t complain.

Small, family owned take out chinese food restaurant. Small space in a strip mall. They have two tables w four chairs each. Primarily a take out spot. I stayed for lunch. Had the lo mein and egg roll. Very good. Recommend this for good food but be advised it is nest to take home. Note they offer party trays for larger groups or family style dinner.

Best teriyaki chicken wings!!! They’re the only thing I’ve ordered from here and they’re consistently DELICIOUS every time! Food is always ready within 15 minutes of ordering. Highly recommend China Wok!

Very good Chinese with very generous portions. Depending on what you order, a single takeout box can feed two to four people.

Was really craving Chinese food last night and after debating where I wanted to go chose china wok. I have eaten there before but didn’t review it so this time I did. I ordered the general tso chicken with house special lo mein and my son ordered the sweet and sour pork. The lady on the phone that took my order was very polite and patient with me. She said it would be ready in 15 minutes and it was right on time. When I got home I jumped in the shower and when I sat down to eat the food was still as hot as the sun. Everything was crispy and fresh. It was great. My sons sweet and sour pork was crispy and perfectly fried, not greasy like some other Chinese restaurants I have had. The lo mein was seasoned beautifully. The only thing that wasn’t right was I asked for it to be extra spicy and it barely had a kick. But it was so good I didn’t even care. This is a good stop to make if you have the craving for Chinese food in Grovetown. The buffet across the street from this restaurant is horrible. And the portions are extremely large. I am very pleased with my experience at the china wok. Now I hope it’s consistent the next time I get the craving for Chinese. It won’t be long.

I mean it’s not the best and it’s not the worst I tried house combination fried rice which was okay the chicken wings were good and the spare ribs that weren’t tender. The price was pretty steep the question is would I eat there again probably not

Although spent a lot of money here over the last two years I have yet to actually try any of the Chinese dishes. We are fans of the chicken wings here when we don’t want to drive all the way out to Wingstop. I always get some of the traditional Chinese wings for everyone else and some of the lemon pepper wings for me! I have mixed feelings about the fried rice. Everyone else really likes the beef fried rice but I don’t like the beef and the rice seems too greasy. I prefer the fried rice across the street at the other Chinese restaurant. Although I don’t care for the beef fried rice the pork fried rice is okay. And my children absolutely love the noodles. So there is definitely something here for all of the different tastes at my house.

I really enjoy their Kung Pao Chicken-the meat is tender, there is a perfect amount of meat and veggies, and they didn’t even skimp on the peanuts! The to-go box was filled to the top and offered enough to fill 2 people for well under $ 10.00. It’s nice to have great food minutes away from home! Enjoy.

Never a bad meal from here! Everything is perfectly cooked and presented to you very quickly after perusing Fred’s for a few minutes. My favorite meal is the schezuan bean curd(tofu) with lots of yummy, fresh veggies in a spicy brown sauce with a big portion of steamed rice. I also love their chicken on a stick, Singapore angel hair rice noodles, house lomein and pu-pu platter. The ribs, wings, cream cheese and egg rolls are pretty spot on! The one thing I didn’t care for is called shrimp toast. We don’t have that in in the North East and I found it terribly oily. It’s like a savory French toast with shrimp purée but deep fried like French toast from a fast food restaurant. If it absorbed less grease I’d be a fan. Other than that, I wish their sauces were better quality and they had a few authentic Chinese dishes but who are we kidding? Grovetown patrons wouldn’t appreciate it. Just look at the liquor store who are forced to abandon their craft brew section because everybody just buys Bud Light. Oh, don’t expect to eat in here. It’s strictly take-out. 9⁄10 their kids are using the table with an iPad or something so you have to take it home after you grab your food.

Fast service! I’m glad it is very close to my house. On my first visit I tried the General Tso’s chicken w/white rice and the cream cheese won tons. The general tso’s great… not dry or crunchy like some I’ve had before. I asked for it un-spicy and that’s exactly what I got. The rice is also steamed nicely. My pet peeve is hard gross steamed rice! Guys, the cream cheese won tons are SO good! I wanted crab rangoon, but they don’t have it on their menu… so i tried these on a whim. Definitely, too much for one person to eat… I think I only ate 2… but I can only imagine how good they will be later tonight when I have left overs! Large portions for the $$$$, they have lots of lunch specials at discounted prices. I think the only thing you don’t get with the lunch special is the egg roll. One thing I didn’t really like, is there isn’t much space to sit down at eat. I’m not much of a take out girl… there are seats but only 2 tables… and there is no drink machine. So I don’t know how you’d get refills!
