WOW! Best Mexican food restaurant I’ve ever been to in Phoenix, hands down. We tried the shrimp cocktail inside a fresh coconut(pictured). This is an absolute must-have and is mouthwatering. They serve you the coconut on the side and also the coconut water. We also tried the Sonora style steak, which is seasoned and cooked to perfection. The staff(Yolanda) is wonderful. Worth noting that they have several options for non-seafood lovers. Truly an exceptional experience all around — can’t wait to come back!

Had a crazy craving for oyster and this place did the trick! Restaurant looks very authentic and colorful. Small menu but with enough options. I had the half dozen of oyster and a shrimp cocktail. Both were good! Decent amount of shrimp in the cocktail but not enough of the trimmings(cucumber). My hubby had the enchiladas which were delicious. Specially the beans. We shared a flan for dessert which was yummy. Overall good food!

Was in search for a place for good ceviche and was told to try here. We were greeted by a very friendly lady who seated us right away. The restaurant was clean and festive looking. There were several types of ceviche to choose from but I’m simple and went for the basic shrimp, cucumber ceviche. My wife had a fish taco which was large in size and super fresh. The fish was fried to perfection and I loved the cream sauce. We loved our choices so much that wr agreed to come back next week and try the other ceviche choices.

A well hiden jem– I am sure it’s a locals place. Clean, simple but most of all flavorful mariscos(sea food). Born and raised in California and been close to the Border with Tijuana Mex. Mariscos are well known and really hard to top especially in Ensenada B.C. we came to this place looking for great food and it didn’t disappoint. Sus tostadas de ceviche de Camaron, tacos de marlin y camarones aguachile no cualquiera los prepara con sabor de hogar.(really authentic home made flavors starting with the shrimp ceviche tostadas, Marlin tacos and aguachile shrimp) this will be my wife’s and I new sea food place. We will definitely come back and try other items in their menu… Oh yeah they do sell Mexican beer to quench your thirst and cool off the heat from their salsa…

Clean, simple, delicious! If you want the chain type food, this isn’t for you. This is the real deal. I’m never disappointed, you won’t leave hungry. The ladies are so nice. The simplest of the menu is the most delicious… the beans. You leave so satisfied

My group was looking for something amazing after some lackluster meals we had eaten while at a conference. This place fit the bill nicely. Very authentic, with warm staff and delicious food.

We met a customer here for dinner and it was excellent. Very authentic since it was in the Mexican neighborhood, not to mention very affordable. We truly enjoyed our meal and ordered family style. Not sure what it was called but it had a huge mix of grilled seafood ranging from squid, octopus, snails, shrimp and fish filets. We also had the peppers and they were excellent. Very filling but also lite.

Very average Mexican seafood. I have had much better. I will admit, living in Phoenix and traveling to the coast in Mexico and So Cal has spoiled me a little. I wouldn’t go back. Casual, small Mexican restaurant ambiance. Prices were normal for Mexican seafood in Phoenix.

Ate here last week with a friend she liked her lava bowl of soup. I had fish tacos that you could tell was frozen. I asked for hotter salsa and was told to use the bottled stuff on the table. There was only one waitress and we had to flag her down to get service. I won’t be back.

Our food here was pretty good but the service could use some work. Our waitress came around maybe 2 times and we had to ask for refills, chips, lime. Things like that. My daughter spilled her drink on the table and I was cleaning it up with some napkins and the waitress did not offer a rag or to help clean it up. Cons: the food could use some salt, more flavor overall. The service could be better, our shrimp cocktail didn’t have enough shrimp . Pros: salsa and chips were great! My San Diego tostada was good and so was the red snapper! I won’t be going out of way to eat here but not bad.

I wanted to apologize for cheating on you guys. I went to a Fish taco franchise(which shall not be named) today. One bite and I immediately regretted my disloyalty, and I have an after taste in my mouth as my punishment. You guys are the best. EVER.

This is in a different part of Guadalupe and was excited to try it. Empty on a Friday night but the service Ed very prompt and our waitress very nice. She brought chips and salsa and took our order back. Chips had a stale and almost plastic flavor to them; salsa was not spicy nor did it taste like much. Left most of it untouched despite being pretty hungry. My main course was the shrimp Veracruz with flour tortillas, sever with beans, white rice, and an iceberg salad. Oddly enough, the very English looking white rice(which included carrots and peas), was the best tasting. The peppers carrots and olives of the Veracruz was swimming in sauté sauce and oil so it was mostly a mess. The iceberg lettuce had tasted like it had soured. Over all, not a good meal in a not great part of town for more than it was worth.

Everything is Good. The End. They also have specials Tues-Thurs. Drool…We normally rely on the deliciousness of the green shrimp, a la diabla or the molcajete. They use chile tepin in a lot of their recipes, spicy and flavorful.
