We have rented vacation homes from Coasting Home twice now. One is Ebbtide and the other is Sea Gate. Both houses are just lovely; perched right on the bluff so you have unobstructed views of the waves breaking. The homes are well-​maintained and contain everything you would need for your time away. The prices are reasonable, and the staff is very pleasant to work with. E-​mails are answered quickly and phone calls are answered or returned within one business day. They also have an app that can be very helpful when you are finding the property or want to look at information about the house.
Great company to do business with! Their goal is to give you a great vacation away from the stress of «inland life»!

This is the best place to call if you are looking for a rental. Jami in the office is fantastic. They know the area and can find just the right rental. if you have any problems they will take care of everything

This review is for the long-​term rental coordination that Coasting Home does. We were looking to move to the area and needed help finding a home to rent that was the right size, furnished and would accept our dog and two cats.
I got in touch with Kim at Coasting Home early on in our rental search and she was fantastic. She found the perfect place for us that fit our criteria. She went the extra mile to provide us information on all the utility providers and gave us a few tips around the area to help make our settling in period even easier. After move in, we got a detailed inspection documenting all the existing imperfections of the house so there was a good record as we move forward in our tenancy. Would not hesitate to recommend Coasting Home for your long or short-​term rental needs.

My friends and I rented a wonderful house called the Independence on the 4th of July weekend and it was fantastic! The house was equipped with everything you may need, plus it had a pin-​ball machine, and an old school arcade game (frogger). We had such a great time. The area was beautiful and just relaxing. I highly recommend it.

I can only say great things. reserve the ‘Serendipity’ house if you can! beautiful home with an amazing views from the windows, on the deck or in the hot tub. super relaxing, beautiful ‘green’ home and full of all the comforts and amenities you can imagine.
recently we rented it for the weekend for a friends bachelorette and found ourselves a little gem! coasting home was very easy to deal with and the house was stocked full of many extras. we managed to cook several gourmet meals, bbq and only left the house to hit up the nearby annapolis winery. great place for a family or two to share too as it is kid friendly.

We’ve rented two homes so far with Coasting Home, Serendipity and most recently, Far Niente. Both of these homes were great! All the amenities (and then some), very clean, fantastic ocean views, ber comfy, and well stocked kitchens! Best part of renting these homes was the pure ease of doing so. The staff at CH is phenom, they make it easy, make you feel welcome, and make you do next to nothing upon departure. Some places (like Sea Ranch) make you do more upon departure than you’d do in your own home, down to scrubbing the bathroom floors and showers! Coasting Home wants to «take you away» from those obligations, and they do! We can’t wait to book another house with them!

This place rents vacation houses in Sea Ranch/​Gualala/​Anchor Bay. The staff is great — especially Jennifer. The house we rented was fantastic — lots of clean linens, a more stocked kitchen than many vacation homes I’ve rented, great deck furniture. It certainly doesn’t hurt that the area is gorgeous and it’s pretty amazing to sit in a hot tub in the late afternoon sun (we city folk had forgotten what the sun actually was!) and stare out over the ocean.
