Garden by the Sea

What a wonderful and creative shop this is! They did flowers for my son’s wedding and it was perfection personified. We couldn’t have been happier. Rhonda knows her business and is very happy to create the flowers that finish off the wedding. She even delivers to Windsor and inland!

Rhonda was helpful, kind, and accommodating. She asked me a number of good questions about what type of bouquet I wanted for a friend’s very special birthday. I really appreciate the fact that she is able to deliver to a slightly remote area. It’s refreshing working with somebody who personalizes the experience. She made me extra happy by offering to pick out special flowers at the florist’s market for my bouquet.

Rhonda works magic — I had my wedding at the Sea Ranch Lodge, and she delivered the most amazing flowers for it! She came recommended by the Lodge, and boy were we happy that we took their advice.
I came to Rhonda less than a month before my event date, and met with her only 3 weeks before the wedding. I communicated very vague requirements — showed some pictures of what styles I liked, let her know the general colors we were going with for the wedding. That was about it. As a pretty picky person, who spends hours at stores finding flowers for our home, I did not expect the perfect execution from Rhonda. Our wedding flowers were amazing — so much so that guests actually asked to take some arrangements home with them, and the Sea Ranch Lodge kept flowers from our wedding at display at the front desk!
With very little direction, Rhonda delivered what I wanted and SO much more. She even drove to the venue and helped set up the flowers. She knew exactly where flowers would look good at our venue. Unlike other vendors in the area, who move at a slower pace, Rhonda was extremely responsive and detail oriented.
To add icing to the cake, when I was scrambling to find someone to do my hair (literally weeks before the event) Rhonda reached out to a local hairdresser that I had trouble reaching previously and set up an appointment for me.
Working with Rhonda was the easiest and most pleasurable part of planning our wedding. My family visits the Sea Ranch area every year, and I plan on finding an excuse to go back for some arrangements from her :-)

Thank you Rhonda! I went in looking for a wedding bouquet. I had an extremely vague idea of what I wanted, and no colors as it was a very small wedding. Rhonda led me through some questions and came up with an idea. I decided to leave it up to her as she is the professional. Then a couple days before the wedding I called asking for a centerpiece as well. She said no problem, and again I decided to leave the details up to the professional.
Boy did she come through! The flowers were beautifully done, smelled amazing, and absolutely perfect for the setting despite the scant details that I could provide.

these were a few of the superlatives that were flowing from both ourselves and our guests for the flowers that Rhonda at Garden by the Sea provided for our sonoma coast wedding.
From the little details of the boutonnieres, to the centerpieces and rustic pails she provided (we had a rustic theme) and made what many had considered the most well-​adorned Chuppa ever!
Super-​responsive both by phone and email and really nice in person too we can’t be happy enough about the service she provided.
Furthermore, her prices were as good if not quite a bit more competitive than many other florists in the sonoma area or Gualala for that matter.
Way to go Rhonda!
