I’m 2 hours into waiting for a damn burger. I haven’t even tasted it yet and I don’t even want to. Two hours for a damn burger. Hell no.

I am here at Guenerville with my family for a little vacation. Since this is a small town i have very little expectation on my dining experience. To my surprise, the food here was excellent. The rib eye steak that i ordered was delicious, the mac n cheese that i ordered for my daughter was one of the best that i have ever had, i ended up fighting over the mac and cheese with my daughter. To make things better, the waitress here Heidi was super friendly, the loud noise from our kids didn’t bother her or anyone here at all. That made me feel very comfortable with a large group with many kids. I would highly recommand this place to anyone who is looking for a casual dining with kids. And FYI theres also live music and the price there is very wallet friendly.

Our server was drunk off his ass and completely obnoxious and rude… WTF ? Even the table next to us was looking over in disbelief at what they were hearing. Is this place closing soon? If not, it should be.

Walked in and got blown off, one of the bartenders/servers was yelling at us that they don’t have a table to fit us. Could have been nicer.

I would love to give a review of the food, but I didn’t get any. After hiking in Armstrong Woods and strolling through town, my family and I decided to grab a bite to eat. We went into Trio to check out the menu. We were greeted by the bartender who told us they mostly just did burgers and nobody really ordered anything else(weird), while he was talking to us, another man walked by and told us twice, quite gruffly that they couldn’t seat a party of 7. It’s a Tuesday, early,(around 5:30 pm) and there were 3 tables in the place. Thanks, but no thanks! Thought this was a touristy kind of town where they would welcome our money. Rude, rude, rude! Eating across the street at 3 Alarm Grill, friendly, welcoming atmosphere. They’ll be getting my business when I’m in town from now on!

In many ways I love Trio — it’s close to wear I live, the staff is mostly attentive and it almost always features talented local musicians and never charges a cover. The Tuesday night burgers are very popular but it’s across the street from the Rainbow Cattle Company which offers a give-back-Tuesday buffet, a benefit for underfunded and needed(mostly) non-profits, schools, animal rescue people, etc. $ 5, no tax, no tip. I’m wondering why the Trio’s burger special is on the same evening as G.B.T. Maybe Tuesdays is the optimum night for Trio but the Rainbow has been featuring Give-Backs weekly for ten years. But I understand, and I really don’t mind. What I do mind is their frozen French fries. I asked once if they were frozen and the retort was«Of course not!» But they are and we found out that was the case later on in the evening. If In-And-Out burger can deliver fresh-cut French fries to all of their customers I wonder why Trio doesn’t. I’m sure it’s economics, time and convenience but for me. it diminishes the overall quality of Trio’s food. Fresh vs Frozen puts a stamp on Trio that they can correct. Don’t know how others feel but this is my opinion. I’ll continue to patronize Trio but I strongly urge them to reconsider the quality of their Fries.

Chicken over cooked, no gravy on mash potatoes, no flavor what so ever in anything AND do not expect to be acknowledged by the coins if they should walk over to your side and pour themselves a drink and don’t say hi!!! One positive is the bald guy with a very nice & funny personality !!! He’s great, but not enough to spend another dollar at!

My boyfriend and I are locals. We have been to trio many times and the food isn’t amazing but not bad. My biggest issue is that this last Thursday night we needed a late night dinner. We got a burger and fries to go and fish and chips. I proceeded to become violently ill within a few hours of eating my burger. My first experience with food poisoning, not one I wish to have ever again. It ruined our weekend plans. I couldn’t leave the house til Sunday. Be careful with what you get and maybe when you get it. They are not keeping their hamburger in proper conditions or the cook isn’t washing his hands after using the restroom. Take your chance if u like, but we will not be going back there ever!

I’ve been here several times and always happy with our food and service. Live music so be prepared to enjoy while you’re eating. The staff are always friendly, kind and helpful. The patrons are also friendly(ha ha ha… really). We’ve had the burgers(pretty good but definitely worth the price), On Wednesday($ 12/night) we’ve had the ribeye steak which is always cooked perfectly, and comes with mashed potatoes and house veggies(never over cooked and quite flavorful). We haven’t ordered dessert but have seen other’s order it and it looks yummy. I heard the fish and chips is really good so will try that soon. Also they have a great reputation for their fried chicken which we will also try very soon. This is an old dive bar that serves food so you need to have that mind set when going in. I’ve read some reviews saying the kitchen isn’t clean but the kitchen is open, beside the bar, and patrons can see everything happening and we’ve never seen anything but professional kitchen work being done. The chef is always polite, happy, and professional even though relaxed. When you call in an order they are happy to take your order and have it ready at the agreed upon time. I love this place, though the bar scene isn’t my thing. I’ll keep going back, especially Tuesday $ 5 burger night and Wednesday for anything on the menu $ 12 night.

Tuesday night is burger basket night & this is not your normal $ 5.00 burger, the meat is a high quality beef cook to perfection is served with all the fixing including french fries. There is also entertainment and plenty of locals to keep you company.

This is one of the best places in Guerneville to hang out with friends, grab a drink, and eat some good grub! There’s a full bar with fun and friendly bartenders. $ 5 burger night on Tuesdays, and $ 12 for all entrées on Wednesdays. The atmosphere is fun and casual, with live music most nights. If your looking to rub elbows with the locals, this is the place!

All I really need to say is $ 12 on Wednesdays… I will add that it’s not a thin cut steak like you would expect, it’s one of those really big thick Rib Eyes like you would spend $ 12 for at the grocery store, but more tender. They cook it over an open flame. The side dishes were good too.

$ 5 burgers on Tuesday and everything on menu goes for $ 12 on Wednesdays. Nice to have a great place to go right in our little village!

We sat for an hour and a half waiting for our order(which they screwed up). Cobwebs and spiders were found lurking the floors. Food was awful, perhaps poisoned. Burger was not close to medium rare, but perhaps it’s better not to eat anything other than well done at this disease hole. Never coming here again.

Went last night for«Dining out for life» Got a table and our waiter came right over. He was super nice and helpful. The owner came over to say hello which was nice. The food came out quick and was really good. I was glad to see that 50% off the bill was going to charity for the night. This place knows how to keep involved with the community and is really reasonable. Give it another try.

We saw the reviews, the spouse wanted a burger, saw organic food, thought why not? Yeah, skip. The first clue should’ve been the loud, booming music at noon on a Sunday. OK, not our thing, but not automatically a demerit. Yet. Had kitschy wood artwork on the wall for sale, which could be a point in its favor … Looked at the menu, saw pancetta mac and cheese and knew we had to split that. Then I opted for the pulled pork barbecue sandwich while the spouse went for the burger. Well, we found out they were out of fries. Not a big deal as I actually don’t like fries, so we were offered the alternative of tater tots and onions. So yes, I definitely wanted tater tots! The mac & cheese was just OK, and that was probably the best thing we ate. Not enough of the pancetta, and the spouse didn’t think it was done enough. But it looked like it’d probably just been warmed up on the grill at the same time as the spouse’s burger was getting started.(That what it looked like from where I was sitting, anyway). The burger, ordered medium, was apparently very overdone, according to the spouse. My pulled pork sandwich, served with just a burger bun, was merely OK. I asked for the slaw on the side because I wasn’t sure I was going to like it.(And no, I didn’t.) The BBQ sauce was also served on the side(don’t know if that’s because I asked for the slaw on the side or because that’s how it’s served). It was also dead cold, which was unappealing. Afterward, my spouse said, «It looks like your pork probably had no flavor without the sauce.» «Yep.» I guess I expected better out of a place that had $ 10 mac and cheese. I think my pulled pork sandwich was probably about the same. I’d say they were probably worth about $ 5 each to me. Yes, I know we were in the heart of wine country and people who will pay anything as tourists, but when I pay $ 10 for mac and cheese, I expect it to blow me away. Instead, the spouse and I sort of waddled out of the place with dissatisfaction, just saying ugh to each other several times as we drove away. If you’re looking for drinks and bar food, maybe this is the place. Just not for us at these prices. If you sub in tater tots for your fries, I’m pretty sure they’re not organic or local.

Its become a destination restaurant for me; If I want good tasting, organic food stuff for dinner. The place has an amicable vibe, with local musicians and live there proprietors and staff. No pretense. The meat we have ordered comes out at the right temperature. The Caesar is always fresh, just a hint of anchovies and fresh dry cheese. Through all the drama related to shared, sole proprietor etc, the kitchen staff has produced solid good food over the 4 times I’ve returned in 2013 alone. Keep it up…

Just recently I moved to Guerneville, Sonoma County. I have to be honest I have been spoiled with the food choices in my previous home of San Francisco. This was one of the things I was worried about the most. Not having a good restaurant to go to. I had read some of the reviews on Unilocal about Trio and have to be honest felt hesitant in even giving it a try! Needless to say I did venture in eventually. And after multiple great meals to include live entertainment I have to say this is the better of all restaurants and bars in the area. Cristina and Justin are a great combo behind the bar. Sebastian is the head Chief, who has experience in many high end restaurants around the bay area. It’s kind of surprising that you’d even find a little Jem like this out here. Just tonight Zack another Chief prepare a delicious meal for my wife and I. Great food! Keep it up guy’s
