Opelousas, LA
1st time eating here, but my coworkers go pretty frequently. Food was good, portions were big, and the price was right. I got the hamburger steak and it was thick with lots of smothered onions.
Others around me had seafood platters and they looked tasty.
They have a drive thru, carry out, or indoor/​outdoor seating. Mostly a «locals» diner, but I did not feel out of place not knowing anyone. Everyone was very friendly and I had several conversations with complete strangers.
Nothing super fancy, but not off putting either. Just a local small town diner.
Very nice lunch, will eat here again.
