A watch and clock repair shop that looks like it’s been here forever. The owner looks like he’s been he for a while too. Just a tiny place with a counter and the repair shop in back. Difficult to find because it’s tucked in behind some other buildings off of Rt. 1.
Not very impressive from the outside. The secret of this place is the owner. Years or perhaps decades of working on time pieces have given magic to his hands. He can fix just about any clock or watch and can tell at a glance if for some improbable reason he can’t
He is so fair and honest it’s almost embarrassing. When you bring some old antique or special clock to him he will pick it up with gentle. almost loving hands and carefully carry it to the back. You immediately know that your valuable is in good hands.
When Mr Barrows finally decides to retire the world will have lost a true genius, one of the few remaining men with skill developed by decades of experience. And the world will have lost something special that can never be replaced.
