Courtyard by Marriott Gulf Shores

Stayed here for one night and was very comfortable. It’s VERY conveniently located; right across the parking lot is a whole shopping center with a Target, Bed Nath & Beyond, plenty of restaurants and a movie theatre. On the other side is a Publix. The whole area is very nice and well kept. It’s also only about a 5 minute drive from the beach.
As far as the hotel itself, staff is VERY friendly. The room was clean and inviting and had everything we needed including Wifi, flat screen TV, mini fridge and microwave. No lock safe, but I’ve been noticing many hotels no longer have these. We also have a balcony with a cute lawn furniture set up on the upper floor.
The lobby has a coffee bistro that smells wonderful as well as lots of cute seating. They offer online check-​in and check-​out as well.
Overall a great stay. If we come back any time soon we would stay here again.

It was nice hotel 5 minutes driving to the beach and near many restaurants and had a pool. They also have free wifi in the rooms and lobby area. The front desk were great! We really loved Charity! She was awesome and made great suggestions on where to eat. If we go back to gulf shores we will definitely try to stay at this hotel again.

Since we went to Gulf Shores during the off season (very few stores/​restaurants opened along the beach), this location was the perfect getaway. We were surrounded and not far from restaurants, shopping, grocery store, etc. Publix is located next door within walking distance and so is the Pinnacle Place Shopping Center which houses the Cobb Movie theatre, Dollar Store, Dairy Queen, Target, Japanese restaurant and other stores. Everything is within walking distance. Our room was nice and very spacious for two sisters enjoying a getaway. Some rooms have small balconies. The fitness center was small and quaint. There was an older female employee who worked at the registration area and I never remembered to get her name but she was such a pleasure. She always had a conversation with us whenever we came in to contact. Leaving from the hotel, if you make a left onto Gulf Shores Parkway and take it straight down to the end, it will take you to the beach area. I think it’s Hwy 187 but don’t quote me. If you turn left it will also take you into Florida. This hotel provides great proximity to the beach without being on the beach. We would definitely stay here again.

The cleanliness of the rooms, beautiful lobby and courtyard are only top by the quality of service from the awesome staff. My room is always cleaned on time and thoroughly and the is always someone at the front desk to greet you as you walk in.
I would have a hard time finding anything wrong with this hotel other than the fact there is no Jacuzzi. However the outdoor pool is heated to a toasty 80°.

Very impressed with the quality of accommodations during my week long business trip. The business lounge, living areas and public areas are not intimidating and are an easy way to get out of your room. The rooms are a great size, pool was clean, and the bistro was good quality food. Very impressed with this location and happy with my decision to stay here.

Stayed here recently while my husband attending a conference. They have a bistro that is open for breakfast. They sell hot sandwich items and starbucks coffee. Wish they were open during the afternoon.
The only bad part of my stay here: the cable was getting repair/​maintained and I was without TV for 3 – 4 hours.
The rooms are spacious and clean. There’s a gym and pool inside. Our room had a refrigerator and iron which both came in handy.

Nice place, right off highway 59. It’s clean and the beds are super-​comfortable. While it’s conveniently located to beachfront activities, make no mistake – you’re still a good 3 miles north of the beach. The folks at corporate could benefit from knowing that (we were told that you could see the water from the room – not so). But, that was corporate, and by no means the fault of the staff at the hotel, who were friendly, welcoming and very helpful. And, it’s close to Target and a grocery store, which is great if you need supplies.

A place to put your head after a great concert! The strangest thing was that I wanted a single king and could only get two queens. Not a bad place with a military discount!
