Claw Daddy’s

Stopped in a bought 2 lbs. Shrimp and 10 pounds of crawfish. Both are over cooked. I called and got a smart mouth girl named Brittany on the phone who proceeded to tell me that they were not Overcooked and that they poke holes in their shrimp. Being from the MS Gulf Coast and eating shrimp for close to fifty years I know that when you can’t peel the shrimp and it falls apart in your hands that’s from one thing… BEING OVERCOOKED!!! Beware! To many other nice places that do shrimp and crawfish right. And that you don’t haft to deal with a smart mouth.

Claw Daddy’s has an amazing business, a very well oiled machine. Unfortunately, I was not impressed with the quality of the live crawfish. We bought later in the day, so we understood they were out of the larger crawfish. They list everything as mediums with different prices. They only had the $ 0.99 mediums. BEWARE, these are small, VERY small. I drove directly back to my house to purge the crawfish and found 30% of them were dead. Just not impressed with the business practices.

Came here twice. Crawfish was seasoned well, large size, flavorful, reasonably priced. Their spicy is VERY spicy. I find the regular has enough spice. I recommend anyone looking for crawfish in the area to check this place out.

My first time to the Gulf so I was really excited to try some local seafood/​boil. I got some recommendations from locals to come here and I am glad I took their advise! I got the shrimp platter with corn and sausages, absolutely delicious. It had a nice kick to it so if you’re not into spicy food, you should reconsider. I was expecting to be able to sit down and enjoy my meal but that isn’t an option. Food is served in a take out tray so if you’re looking to sit down, you have to go somewhere else.

Go to place to pick up crawfish on the coast. Very tasty and seasoned just right! I usually get the spicy crawfish — tasty corn as well!

This place is awesome! They are always packed when I come to get Crawfish. You can either get them by the pound, live or boiled. Or you can get platters. Don’t like Crawfish? No problem they also have Shrimp and sometimes Crab. They also have Potatoes, Corn, Sausage and Mushrooms. They also have bottled drinks, and if u are getting live Crawfish to fix them at home, they have the seasoning they used packaged too.

Excellent crawfish and shrimp. Very friendly staff. It’s a takeaway place but had a small patio at the back and have food. Tasty food and good value for money. Will certainly recommend if you like seafood… I will definitely go there again. It’s a seafood lovers delight

Incredibly friendly. Never had crawfish before and this was the best possible first time experience. It was a great deal and they even gave us free beer and toppings and showed us how to eat them. The shrimp is fantastic as well. Will stop here every time I pass on I-​10.

Fresh steamed mudbugs, tasty corn on the cob, and personable service from this family run business combine to make Claw Daddy’s a WINNER. We stopped back by on our way home and this will be a go-​to place when passing through the Biloxi area.

$ 4.30 per pound but sooo worth it! Their seasoning is spicy and full of juicy flavor! The long line went fast and they close early (6pm) so get it before they run out! Ask for the butter and seasoning mix on top! I wouldn’t get the boiled shrimp again though because it was over cooked and mushy.

Claw Daddy is fantastic! Delicious, down home and a what a family owned restaurant should be. My sister and I were on a road trip and we really wanted an authentic crawfish boil. This was the perfect place! The atmosphere was nothing fancy, we sat on plastic chairs and tables in the carport, but the food was outstanding. The shrimp and crawfish were fresh, large and covered with just enough spices and seasoning so that your mouth wasn’t on fire but the flavors builds into a great intensity. Cameron, the grandson of the original owner, does his family proud by his hospitality and friendliness. When we walked up, he spotted us taking a selfie near the Craw Daddy sign and came out to take our pictures. After our meal of boiled shrimp, crawfish, potatoes and corn (sooo damn good!), Cameron sent us off with some secret spice so we can go back home and try recreating this magic on our own. Hopefully, I’ll get a chance to come down again and eat with Cameron and his family, because it was really a great meal and experience. True southern hospitality!

Awesome place to stop off the highway on a road trip. The girls inside were very friendly and gave us a deal on some crawfish. The crawfish were great. We bought 2 lbs. but they served us 5 lbs easily. Great place.

So normally when we eat out for dinner we all want different stuff well my son wanted crawfish and we had not been over here long maybe a year to know where to find good crawfish so I loomed on Unilocal like I do for restaurants and things and found them… I called like 10 minutes till closing and asked if they had any left and we would be right there she said we just took some out the pot we will be here cleaning come on…
My son walked in we ordered 3lbs he walked out with 5lbs for the price of of 3 awesome people and place we go there now only for our crawfish!!! And the other food and service hands down the best to me for seafood in Gulfport!!!

Their food is so good. I love the potatoes, corn, mushrooms and sausage. Everything is buttered and seasoned so well. I have eaten crawfish and shrimp from here and both were good. I want to try the spicy crawfish next time.

This place was packed! And despite the crowd we didn’t have to wait that long for our ten lbs of crawfish. They have their own special seasoning for the crawfish boil. Its not too spicy and the flavor is good. Its not the best crawfish I’ve ever had but they are definitely good and worth having a again. We will definitely be back!

Amazing food! Time estimate was spot on! They said 20 – 25 mins and that was pretty accurate! I ordered our food as we were on our way there (20 min drive), sure enough they were just boxing up our food as we arrived. The girls put our two meals in 2 separate bags then told me they were going to open up the box tops to prevent the fried gator and catfish from getting soggy from the steamy moisture. Not many places think about this or how the quality might change from the steam. We got home and it was amazing! Not soggy at all, crispy yet moist pieces of meat, and the flavor was incredible! Absolutely loved the fried jalapeño and onions mixed in with the gator! There was no sauce for either of the dishes, and it didn’t need any! I wish I would have found this place sooner! Highly recommend!

We ordered boiled crawfish, shrimps (heads on), new potatoes, & corn for lunch on Christmas Eve. Was so happy they were open, but had to take back to hotel since they don’t have seating. Price relatively affordable compared to restaurants. Love the food. They have other items as well, but did not try. Next time. I was happy they had fresh boiled crawfish since they are not in season. They were small, but very fresh & tasty. Perfect one may say.

Don’t let the exterior cloud your judgement on what Claw Daddy’s has on the inside. You have to git it and go since there is no seating. Very good food.

This place was right across the street from our hotel. I smelled it every time we would come or go. Our last night, I finally broke down and went to try their food. It was a very busy joint and quite crowded. The staff was friendly. The food was amazing. I had the fried gator dinner with peppers, onions, potatoes and hushpuppies. I ate the whole container (once it cooled down a little). The gator was delicious as were the hushpuppies.

Must go! Amazing crawfish and shrimp. Staff is absolutely amazing and the price is even better. My go to stop every time I am in Gulfport. ENJOY!
