Easy to make an appointment… they fit me in the next day. Debbie gave me a great haircut and picked the perfect color for highlights. She was attentive and made sure my hairstyle was exactly what I wanted. Nice salon for the area.

I am new to the area so I called to find out if there were any stylists who specialized in curly hair. The receptionist told me everyone was trained in cutting curly hair which should have been my first red flag bc I have been to enough salons to know that not everyone knows how to work with curly hair. She made me an appointment with Camille. When I showed up I told Camille I wanted Balliage partial highlights especially around my face so when I pull my hair back it looks blended. She talked me out of doing that and said she would do a partial foil instead. There were very few questions involved and I didn’t get the sense that she was tuned into what I was saying. She only did my center part adding none around my face. She also was very uneven with highlights adding big chunks in some areas and none in others so that if I part my hair to the side I look like the bride of Frankenstein with huge yellow hightlights in weird spots. She then blow dried my hair straight and cut it dry which is also a big no-​no with curly hair since you obviously can’t tell where the curls fall when it is straight. I had a terrible experience here and I am now searching for a new salon to fix her mistakes. The price wasn’t unreasonable but for $ 100 I expect a lot more from what appears to be a pretty nice salon. Other’s I know have been to Sara and they had no complaints but I will not be coming back here.
