Critter Sitters & Outfitters

We have been taking our dog to Critter Sitters for over a year now. She is an energetic lab, and LOVES going there! We don’t need to take her to daycare, as I work from home, but she loves it so much and it is so affordable that we take her 2 times a week to play with her friends. The staff is friendly, adores our little girl, and I feel 100% comfortable leaving her with them. I HIGHLY recommend!

If I could give negative stars I absolutely would. NEVER EVER EVER take your pets here. If you are looking for an option in Gunnison, please go to Waggin Tails. My dog was boarded here for a week over the holidays while I returned home and he lost ¹⁄₅ of his body weight. I was never contacted and in absolute shock when I picked him up. I finally was able to speak to a manager, but no reasonable explanation other than «my dog being active» was given. Upon returning home, he had to be rushed to the vet and given an IV for fluids and supplement to gain his weight back. The staff at Critter Sitters had no clue what was going on in their establishment or with the dogs and had no idea how to run a business. We certainly will never be back, and if you want your dog to remain in good health, I suggest the same.
