If you are on the lake looking for something to eat, you have very few options. If your boat is not too big you can squeeze under the causeway and go to one of three restaurants that have dock access but your choices are fried-fried or fried. Somewhere is on the main pool near Guntersville Boat Mart and has places for even large boats to tie up. Be careful of the water depth on approach and follow the nav markers that run close to the causeway. Depth is not great so if you draft over 48″ or so I’d recommend the tender. Once you get there, it’s basically a sports bar with way above average food including steak, filet wedge salad, pasta, catfish, draft beer, full bar, two decks so you can set outside in good weather. We’ve been dozens of times by boat and by car and have never had a bad experience.

Ran the app menu during Auburn game #1. Thru first half, everything a winner: wings, catfish fingers and the big Mess. Jessica an exceptional host. Very friendly and attentive service. Love the dockside access.

Somewhere is a great establishment. Great food, great service and a fantastic atmosphere. The live music adds a charm that’s unparalleled anywhere in the area and the owner makes you feel warm and welcome every time you walk through the door. I always make a point to make it here when I’m in the area, you should too.

Great place to pull your boat up to and go grab a bite. I had the crab cake appetizer and it was huge. Delish. I also tried the crab bisque. I had to get extra to go. The wait staff was so friendly and attentive. The acoustic music was live and talented. We appreciated the help docking the boat. Highly recommended especially just coming in off a hot day on the lake. Perfect place to see the sunset.

Prime Rib on Friday nights is great. They serve it as big as 22oz. I’ll for sure be back for more. If you don’t believe it’s the best prime rib around, just ask Bubba T.

This place has good service and really good food. I’ve been two nights in a row, first night I had All You Can Eat Catfish(any way you want it, fried, broiled, blackened, etc.). I had mine blackened, it was delicious. Second night, last night I had their Prime Rib dinner special with mixed veggies, cooked perfect and taste was great. Highly recommend this place.

Service was decent, she was fairly attentive. It’s strange that they wear flip flops in food service. Little things throughout our meal were agitating. I had the steak sandwich, asked for everything on the side. Came out with the cheese on the side but smothered in grilled onions & mushrooms. Boyfriend got the hamburger & he said it was fine. The onion rings he got were delicious! Drinks went empty, server wasn’t by after dropping off the food until she dropped off the check. She and the bartender seemed too interested in what was on tv. Looks like a good place for later night, as they offer live music and pretty good drinks. Meh, overall it was okay. Nothing spectacular.

Came from Nashville to see a show, sound was great for a restaurant. For dinner I had filet with a bake potato and lobster bisque, little Spicy but good. For dessert I had a fried moon pie!(To die for) The food was fresh, cooked great, service was good! I could not asked for a better dinner! The atmosphere was a cool, relaxed beach bar theme !

En route to from Nashville to a wedding at Lake Guntersville State Park, my friend and I were so excited about finding a local barbecue shack along the back roads. We passed at least 250 churches, a few delis, one meat &2(why not 3?) and a few fast food joints. We realized our drive was coming to a close so decided to stop at the next spot… hence our arrival«Somewhere on the Lake». Cute name! I was a little surprised that, for a marina restaurant, the fish options were almost all of the ocean variety. I did have a pretty tasty ahi tuna salad. The spicy crab bisque was pretty darn spicy. It was decent, but I prefer a little more sweetness to bisque. My friend’s shrimp po-boy looked pretty decent. Atmosphere was sports bar. It seemed like a good place to watch the game. Apparently we stuck out like a sore thumb, so that kind of sucked. Service wise… at first friendly, then just meh.
