This place is a blast and love coming here for drinks. Every time I come here the experience is just as great as the last time. And I love the outdoor bar they have added, which makes it even more of a great time.

Horrible! horrible! horrible! Service is all I can comment on because we never got our food after an HOUR! We went there on a Sunday afternoon at 11:00 and finally left at 12:00 after no food. Worst part is the place was almost empty. We had a table of 5 with 2 young kids. We saw a total of maybe 8 tables with people at them in the whole restaurant. We watched a table get sat after us, get their food, eat, and leave the whole time we waited. Our server finally came our after 40 minutes and agreed we should be upset. She blamed it on a bartender leaving. Manager on duty could have cared less. We never saw him. He was aware of the situation too. I went in after an hour with no food and complained to him how awful the service was. He just looked at me and stared. Worst problem is that this is close to our house and we want to like the place. We had went there 7 years ago and had a very similar experience and it took me 7 years to go back. Never ever again!!!

Every Time I come here I have a great experience! The staff is great, the food is axing and the environment during a good sports game is infectious. They didn’t have the first beer I requested but the waitress brought over three others for me to try which was awesome Bc I like to try new beers. I was here for a snack and a cold brew while I read my book and the calamari was seriously one of the best I have had. Over cooked calamari is rubbery and this stuff was perfect. Keep it up guys and I will continue frequent here :)

It’s a nice establishment and they have a beach volleyball court. The booths also have their own personal TVs which is great. The service was great and really quick attentive and welcoming. As a bar this place is really nice to come to on a weeknight. But unfortunately I was not a fan of the food. It seemed really inconsistent. Some of our food was undercooked. I ordered the fajita salad and it was literally 50% sour cream and guacamole. Which I guess makes sense for a places called fatmans haha. If they upgraded the menu or hired a new cook I think this place could get a 5 star review but im sorry to say it’s just that bad. I mean the fries were good, at least.

Worst breakfast ever we were seated and then asked to move because they mistook us for another party. I ordered thick cut bacon and eggs. Got thinnest bacon I’ve ever seen. Hash browns were terrible. Eggs were small. Food came out with no clue where it was going even though first names were on tickets utter confusion as to who ordered what. No service at all had to get our own coffee and silverware. Our finished dishes were just left in front of us. The only thing that wasn’t bad was the toast. No one liked their dish utterly disgusting. Our waitress was trying she was the only one rest of staff was wandering aimlessly about doing nothing. Completely unorganized and understaffed. We might as well been running the place. Will never go back. I’ve never seen anything this completely bad all around.

Spent the afternoon at Fatman’s Pizza today to watch the Bears game, with my group of 23 for whom I’d reserved a small back room area in advance. When we arrived at our designated time of 11:15AM, there was another group of 12 or so already at our tables, which turned out to be a small misunderstanding… rectified in 10 minutes or so by moving them to another area of the restaurant. All is cool! At about 11:50am, with the Bears football game beginning at noon, I noticed that our two screens were still not on the sports channel to watch the game. I tracked down and asked the hostess to please change them, and waited for her to do so. She was completely overwhelmed, serving food, on the phone, and working the remote for just the 2 screens nearest to her. At 12:02, after kick-off, she finally got back there, saying, «I have a lot of TV screens to change, all over the bar.» I asked, «Then why not do that at 11:30 or 11:45? Why wait till noon to switch the channels over to the game?» No answer. Then at 12:10, one of our only two TV screens fritzed out(note: no one had touched it at all), and it went back to the channel listing for upcoming shows. I went back to the hostess and politely asked her to please get this one back on track, ASAP, as we only had two televisions for our entire group… and now only ONE. This took almost 20 minutes to rectify, during which the Bears scored the first touchdown, which many of our group missed because they were facing the television set that was not working. Bummer! Our server, Sandy, was so overwhelmed that she was actually trembling. She apologized multiple times. Every single one of us, I believe, just went to the bar to order drinks because there was no way she had time to serve us beverages. Even at the bar, with just one woman tending it, it was a good 8 – 15 minutes to get a drink. We did put our food orders in with our overworked server, Sandy, however. I thought the food, overall, very good with hearty portions, and I highly recommend it. About 45 minutes into the game, a few members of my group went to the bar to order the special they had advertised, which was four bottles of any Miller beer in a bucket for $ 10. The one female bartender they had, who was rushing around serving probably 150 people on her own said, «We don’t have buckets! We haven’t had buckets in a long time! There are no deals on buckets!» I said, «OK, although when I called I was told about your buckets deal.» I told my group, sorry, but no buckets evidently, that’s just how it is… and they were good with that. However, later, I saw a giant 4-color poster on the wall advertising their four bottles of Miller beer in a BUCKET, for $ 10. I carefully removed it from the wall, keeping the tape intact, and went back to the bar, waited awhile till she had time for me, then I asked her again about the bottles in the bucket, which she again stated they do NOT offer. Then I pulled up the poster, a replica of what they’re also offering on their website and she read it. She, their lone bartender, said, «I had no idea this was even one of our promotions!» What’s up with this? I taped it back up onto the door of the women’s restroom, one of the several places where this poster was placed. Around halftime, I went to actually use the ladies room, with two stalls, and as always, I check out the toilet paper in each one to be sure they are refreshed enough for my group to feel comfortable with. The first one was completely out of the jumbo roll, and the last one had maybe a quarter inch left on it. I went back to the bartender and hostess, telling both ladies discreetly that the women’s restrooms need to be refilled. I believe this was done promptly. Evidently there were no busboys working today, as I cleared food baskets and plates from tables from all of us, piling them on a wall shelf around the corner, 3 to 4 plates high, and 4 to 5 piles wide. Overall, I think this might be a good place for outdoors in warm weather, because they have a really great patio area. This may have been one freaky off-day with only one bartender for the entire bar(maybe someone called in sick?) and 1 server for our reserved group and even she, much less our server, Sandy, had a difficult time taking ANY drink orders from us because she had no time to fill them. There is no way I can do another group event inside here again. I hope people who come alone, or in groups of 2 to 4, might get better service. And I hope even they, when they notice the restrooms are empty, will ask to get them refilled for groups like mine, and everyone else there, who need the facilities. Or, I hope the management will just have the restrooms ready for a Bears game capacity group, in advance. Either way, the Bears won, the pizza is really really good, and I hope things improve here in the future with more staff, TVs that work, and preset already to the right channel before you arrive, restrooms ready for the crowd, and more. Fingers crossed.

Great place to hang out and have drinks with friends. I came here once and hung out on the other side of the bar away from the diners which was great because our group got a little loud. The drinks are priced reasonably and are really good!

Great place to hang out on a summer night! My only issue is the mosquitos on the beautiful new beer garden. Get a fogger or some candles or whatever it takes because they are baad! Pizza and apps are excellent(calmari!) and volley ball courts are always full and well groomed. Probably one of the best spots to have a drink in the area in both Winter and Summer.

Their bar is great! They also have booths to sit and enjoy food. Their service could be better. But good for the most part. The patio is so much fun! Great for drinks and a smoke. They have a dj on the weekend but otherwise a juke box is available. Their bathrooms suck! So nasty. They should upgrade fast!

The new patio is awesome!!! The servers were good, never low on beer or food. Never thought«where is my server…» Very nice, friendly and good food!!! However, we asked for Stella, they were out, asked for captain, out… Then bud light, and summer shandy — very unacceptable for a BAR

We love there fish fry, we love there fajitas. This is the best of all their locations. This is the only location that is worth attending. So good. Especially the fish fry. They should just sell the rest of their locations and just expand this one.

Stopped in to the place sunday afternoon, football game was on, the server dropped the menue on our tables. We waited and waited for her to come back so we could order, she was to busy at the bar having laughs and never came back to take our order. We walked out and went close by, and had a good meal with first rate service. They should decide is this a food place or a bar joint, cuase this blond server never came over to take our order

Nice to find a good place up north! After a day of shopping we wanted to try something new. Really liked the atmosphere not your typical sports bar open and noisy, each table had its own television. Appetizers were the typical but not the typical grease actually felt light but yummy! Oh and I knew it at the cheese stick sauce if the red sauce is good the pizza is good. And true the pizza is really awesome and reasonable, nice thin crispy crust. Our waiter was on spot and very friendly, we will be back and bring friends!

So I can’t say much for the food or alcohol here but I can rate the volleyball courts and that’s what I’m gonna do! Living in sf I don’t really play beach volleyball despite the ocean being right there. 1. Because its far to cold and 2. Because the beaches are kinda nasty. The fatman courts were really well kept and I had a fantastic time playing on them. The fact that they are located right next to a bar makes them that much better. As for the bar it looks like a great place to chill and have a few drinks.

English is a very versatile an descriptive language. However, English — with more than one million words — lacks the ability to appropriately describe how awful this place is. So, some specifics. Every time I’ve been to Fatman’s it is unpleasantly dirty. By dirty I mean that I left there with dirt visible on my clothes. In general, my experiences with the staff have been less-than-favorable, too. The only positive is the location, which is convenient to Routes 41 and 21.

We’ve gone here a few times, I liked it. The first time we stopped here was when we were driving home from Ren Faire and they had run out of Ribs and Turkey Legs, how the hell does that happen?! On a mission to get some ribs, we decided to stop at Fat Man’s and order some to go. By the look of the place I figured we were just going to get some sub par food, but the ribs were delicious. They were so tender the meat fell right off the bone, and the sauce was really good. The most surprising thing to me was the cole slaw, you could tell it was completely fresh and homemade. I was really surprised, it’s not often you can get good cole slaw. As for the atmosphere of the place, it’s a nice little dive bar. We’ve gone a few times to hang out, drink some beer, and play some of the games, and it was fun. Definitely a place I would go back to, and would order food from again.
