We had 4 different companies/​handyman come out to give us a estimate on our front porch and sidewalk. You could tell each time a new contractor came out that Rick stood out as quality, trustworthy, and experienced. I was very impressed from the beginning and appreciated the time Rick took to answer my husband and I’s questions. Our curb appeal is outstanding now thanks to RAS concrete and the pride and quality Rick takes in his employee’s shine through their work.

We wanted to add a concrete patio in our backyard. Rick was very professional and friendly as were his crew. They did an amazing job and the patio is exactly what I sketched out. I solicited a number of proposals. RAS was one of the most affordable options that was also listed on the BBB.

R.A.S. poured a 20′ x 16′ half-​kidney shaped, pea-​gravel patio at the front entrance of my home in 2003 and to this day there is not a crack in it. Other companies told me I could not have rounded edges, but RAS created the patio design I was seeking. To this day (May 2015), I always refer my Real Estate clients to RAS with complete confidence.

They did a great job. They’ve been in business for decades. Really know their stuff. Very professional. They did a beautiful job replacing our driveway. Definitely check out their exposed aggregate alternative. Look at a job they’ve done somewhere like I did. I think you’ll love it too.

I have not had this outstanding service from any company in years! The price to concrete our driveway was the best. After our asphalt was taken out, a flood hit our cul-​de-​sac. Since we had to deal with the mess in our house, RAS waited until we had things under control before pouring concrete-​some two weeks. The workers are beyond courteous and the job is perfect. What a wonderful experience to have a pleasant, worry free, beautiful job. I can’t recommend this company highly enough.

We needed to redo the concrete entry steps and landing into our Peterson Woods bungalow. I think I got 7 different estimates for the project. Each person seemed to tell me something different about the needs/​requirements of the project. Prices varied widely, as did the apparent quality of the contractors. After much ado, we settled on Rick from RAS Concrete. They are out of Gurnee, but do a lot of work in the city, especially the Northside. Rick was the most professional and knowledgeable. I truly trusted what he was telling me. In the end, we are thrilled with his work. Our neighbors have been coming over to inspect and admire the work. He did an exposed aggregate finish, which really blends with the age of the house. My wife and I could not be more pleased.
