Stopped in for lunch. Salad bar was fresh lots of options. My lunch was chicken Bella which was very good. Decent food for a decent price

We had decided to visit Ruby Tuesday’s at Gurnee Mills on Friday evening. We had gone several times many years back and had very fond memories, so we chose to go back. We won’t be making that mistake again any time soon. From first walking in, having three staff members totally ignore us while we were waiting for a table. Keep in mind, there were a total of five tables that had people at them, and two people at the bar watching the Hawks game. Once we finally got a server to take our drink order, we decided to go for the salad bar. After filing our plates, realizing we were never given silverware or napkins. I said it three times nice and load right in front of one of the staff members and she didn’t even blink, let alone provide us with what we needed to have our meal. Eventually, went to the bar and asked the bartender if he could assist getting us the basics to we could eat. So, we enjoy our meal, I will say the salad bar was good. Time passed, we were done, and realized we both needed another beverage and dessert would have been nice. No one ever came back from the initial drink order to ask if everything was ok, did we need anything etc. Had they showed up, we would have both gotten another drink and desert, but no such luck. By now, there were two tables in the entire restaurant. Us and another couple. That’s it. Four people. I’m looking around for our server, or any server for that matter, and I saw all the staff in other booths having dinner. Now, I understand, they are entitled to eat, but not while their customers are sitting there waiting to be helped. She finally wandered over, placed our bill on the table and walked away. Let’s just say, as time passed, we kept removing more money from the hefty tip we had planned. That was the first time we’ve been there in a few years, and it will most certainly be the last. The service, or lack thereof, needs some serious customer service training. If not for the customer’s you wouldn’t have a job, and that appears to be lost on the staff at Ruby Tuesdays in Gurnee Mills.

This place is a crap hole. Cold food, missing items, rude patrons, bitching about being treated poorly because she was black. And that us white people were being given a table before her. She was too stupid to realize there are two ways into the restaurant. 40 minutes to get appetizers and then 30 more minutes to be told the pork chops ran out. Then 20 min later my dry rub ribs show up with Barbecue sauce on them and cold twice baked potatoes. This place really is horrible. Don’t go Red Robin is very close.

I ordered the shrimp fondue. It was very good. Our server was great. She found my daughter’s retainer after we had already left the restaurant and my careless daughter realized she was missing something… Lets just say, She saved my daughter’s life!!!

Today I went to ruby Tuesday with my family for my mother in laws birthday. When we got there it wasn’t busy at all so I asked the host for a table for 5 and a baby and he told me he was going to sit me at the corner table so I could put my stroller to the side. There was nobody at this table just a couple cups. Regardless they waited 20 minutes to clean the table and when I asked he said I had to wait until 4:45 to eat when I had spoken with him at 4:20. As I was waiting by the door he told me to move because I was blocking the entrance when I wasn’t even in front of it. After we were sat after 30 minutes of waiting I asked our amazing waitress for his name and was a doll! Told me to speak with the manager because he needed to know about the issue we had. The service other than this guy was superb! The manager he is amazing!!! And our waitress was great! The automatically took care of our issue and made it a happy and relaxed visit!!! If we are in town again we will definitely be visiting!

Horrendous service! Was out on a wait list the blonde hostess said that she sat our family down to eat and crossed our names off the list when we were clearly in front of the door. After I spoke to them about that, instead of seating my family of three, she proceeded to seat another family of three by the name of GOLD instead of mine, and told me to wait some more!!! Service last time was unsatisfactory as well, it took 20 minutes to get drinks. Service used to be good here now it has went to shit. Only business that comes through is new recruits and unknowing mall goers. F Ruby Tuesday in Gurnee!

Before you food snobs think, «Ugh, Ruby Tuesday… a chain restaurant?» Yes! Ruby Tuesday… a chain restaurant! I give this place 5 stars for a few(good) reasons. 1. They still have a salad bar! Sorry, not a germaphobe, so it doesn’t bother me that its buffet style. Its make your own salad… who doenst want that?! 2. They have a selection of calorie conscious menu items that are pretty tasty. 3. Clean — everywhere, restrooms too. 4. The service is excellent. Seriously! I have NEVER had a bored or rude server or host, they are fun talkative and check on us just enough without being too intrusive. Mu husband and I go there when we want to grab dinner after an I’m-not-cooking-tonight kind of day which is often. which leads me to #5 5. It wont break your bank! You can usually use a coupon when you DO have to penny pinch(gotta give up your e. mail, but they don’t flood your in-box so I don’t mind) At any rate… I love this place for a casual meal. For you shoppers, its right IN the mall(Gurnee Mills)

Today, I purchased a rib eye, asparagus and mashed potatoes. The steak is cooked fine, but is the toughest rib eye I have ever had. The asparagus still had the thick stalks on it and weren’t peeled properly. And the mashed potatoes were old and dry. Not creamy at all. I have tried this restaraunt one too many times.

Meh. It’s Ruby Tuesday. I don’t even know how we wound up here. Maybe something about my husband being extraordinarily hungry and wanting the salad bar? We arrived and were seated promptly, though they appeared to get quite busy shortly after we arrived. Our server was attentive. Food was good — nothing special. I had a bacon cheeseburger. We’d probably come back in a pinch because it’s close to home, but there was nothing remarkable about the experience.

Used to live near a Ruby Tuesday restaurant(15+ yrs ago) and thought prices seemed high for the quality. I did not return and probably never would have, except for the fact I was visiting family in Florida and everyone wanted to go to Ruby Tuesday’s. I ordered the ribs and was blown away! BEST I EVERHAD! Everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed their food. Can’t wait to go to my local Ruby Tuesday’s — trusting they all follow the same recipe!

This chain is one of my favorites and the one in Gurnee is the best of the best. I have never had a bad meal at Ruby Tuesday. A few times the service has been marginal but very rarely. We only had soup and of course, the salad bar, but our server treated us like it was a big order. He even brought us biscuits that weren’t part of our order. This is one of the few franchises where being part of their«club» matters. Instead of a coupon for a dessert, it’s often two entrees for the price of one. Great restaurant!

For a corporate restaurant I would say we had a good experience. Our servers name was Zachary and he was very attentive. Honestly I came here for the salad bar(doesn’t disappoint). Was told a 45 min wait on Valentine’s Day was only about 25 min. Nothing special but was worth it since everything else was packed through the roof for v-day.

Long story short, I’ve dined here often, yesterday was bad… Salad bar hard boiled eggs were rubbery(undercooked). The appetizer: shrimp kun poon was aweful tasting)? The potato salad had brown taters, usually there red taters… This might sound minuscule but it add$ up! The ribs were cold! yes a bone was actually cold… I would usually bring this to management’s attention but I did not due to a friend was dining with us — so I bit my tongue… It was a unsatisfactory meal! two stars givin’ to our waitress who did a good job!

I have been coming here for years and their costumer service always been top notch. Today not only I didn’t get the biscuits, they messed up my drink, forgot ny side for dinner and brought it out when I was done. Overall food still great. Whats going with this place !!!

I don’t know what it is about Gurnee and theme based restaurants/bars, but many of them really are below average. I remember when RT’s was good, prices reasonable and the salad bar was awesome. I dined at this location recently and boy oh boy, how things have changed. RT’s decided to get cute and that does not work. The food was Okay but not for the small portion with the bigger price. The service was lousy and it was really slow that day. Too many other choices…

I went on a Sunday evening for early dinner, late lunch and had a terrible experience the second I stepped into the restaurant. Having a party of seven, I expected a short wait but there were tables available. great, right? Wrong. we had to wait 10 minutes for someone to put together two tables. We then sat down and our waiter, who happened to be very friendly, was just a slight bit off his game. Not only spilling a drink over a guest I had been dining with but while ordering, he forgot to inform us they were out of chocolate milk(for the young one), avocados for the guacamole, tomatoes for the salads and they were also out of Sprite syrup so, no Sprite either. We were almost afraid to order our entrees in fear we would be told they were out of meat. Come on, now! How can you operate a restaurant without half the things in stock that are on the menu? Very disappointing. Aside from all of that, the ambience was very relaxing and the prices weren’t too bad. Along with these two things, the salad bar(unlimited for an extra $ 1.99 with the purchase on an entrée) was stacked and full of goodies. Fresh salads and condiments and we were very pleased with that as well. Those three things are what earned the restaurant a two star rating; rather than a one star. Will I eat here again? Sure, why not! It was good and it happened to be a poor evening to dine here. Once(and if I ever get the chance to do so) I dine here again, I will be sure to update this review but for now, the slow and sloppy service, the poor variety of foods and the experience earned this star a «Meh. I’ve experienced better.» rating.

Love this restaurant. Really superb food, lots of choices. Wide variety of drinks, although they might be suited more for the ladies. They got many beers as well. Staff is always very friendly. Good atmosphere with great décor. I go there every week sometimes more than once.

In terms of the Good-Time Eatery genre of restaurants, this Ruby Tuesdays is below average. Perhaps it’s the excess foot traffic from the mall, but this location seems dirtier than others I’ve visited. Likewise, the restrooms on both occasions I have visited have required serious attention – think Port-o-Potty, but with ceramic tiles. The service was average, our first time here, we experienced great service, which encouraged our decision to return. Upon our subsequent visit, however, getting a refill was like hailing a NYC cab during rush-hour. The salad bar, normally a buffet of awesome, was sparse and in desperate need of attention. I will likely eat here again if I’m shopping at the mall, but it will be with some trepidation.
