Still a hilarious waste of space. Nothing’s changed. This standard-issue Mack wild mouse is pretty boring to begin with, yet Six Flags managed to up the lame factor by placing it inside an incredibly ugly building. On top of that, the cars are cramped, the effects are goofy-looking and ill-timed, and it offers next to no thrills aside from a single dip that catches you off guard. There’s a pre-ride show that gets zero views, since they quickly shuffle you past the nice video interlude between one section of waiting and the next. The fact that you can get a large beer right outside at the pizza stand offers up some consolation, since you’ll need to be decently buzzed to enjoy any part of this stinker. Oh, and be ready for a 30 minute wait on average, because the tamer features of the ride appeal more to families and younger guests. Yet I still saw a couple of parents who dragged their kid on this kicking and screaming, since apparently he was afraid of the dark and they thought it’d be a good idea to force him on a dark ride. Nice job, mom and dad. Why they tore out Rajun Cajun(a legit spinning coaster that made for some excellent rides) and put in this monstrous failure is beyond my comprehension. SFGAm stupidness at their absolute finest(worst?) SKIPIT.

Ragin’ Cajun is better than this. It’s a family-sized coaster with no surprise and nothing special. The Dark Knight is mostly dark. I can see the track during the lift hill only if it’s dark. The lighting is pretty cool, and it’s different from the other Mack Wild Mouse clones at a variety of amusement parks. The sound is not for the faint-hearted. This roller coaster is very noisy. I hate the noise because it is disturbing. The worst sound is at the final brake run. My ears can bleed people! There are a lot of drops, twists and turns that are pretty exciting. You won’t know when the next twist, turn, and drop is. It makes the ride more enjoyable in my opinion. The other reason why this coaster is good is because there are some cool stuff to look at during your wait in line. There is an interview from one of the movies featuring Batman. I’m not sure which one. Before the station, you can see a camera. It shows your face. When it does show yourself, you can see a clown face. It’s really cool, and it’s quite funny! All in all, ok coaster. I’d suggest ignoring this one because it’s not really special.

I really dislike this ride and was very disappointed that Great America sent away the very fun Ragin Cajun and kept this piece of junk. The effects during the ride experience rarely work and this ride is a major disappointment…
