Above the Rest is one of the many antique shops lining the olden streets of downtown Guthrie. It is definitely worth a stop as it is chockful of goodies galore.
The downstairs floor is sectioned off by booths, as many antique stores are. I have found these booths to be fairly well organized. Household items are afoot on the front floor, and be sure to check out the booth with all the Frankoma pieces near the front.
Upstairs, it’s clothes, clothes, clothes! Mostly ladies’ and kids’ clothing, but if you like a thrifty closet, be sure to hike up the stairs and take a look.
There are many signs about under 18’s need to be accompanied at all times, which lead to many jokes about one of our friends, but yeah, don’t let your kid run around as they please!
