The biscuits and gravy are the best I’ve ever had, and we’ve been all over the place! I recommend having an order no matter what! The rest of the food is great and tasty as well.
The café is clean and the service is outstanding. It’s exactly what this community needs — a place that isn’t a big commercial machine with good food and good people. Make sure you stop in, say hi, and have a great meal (ESPECIALLY THOSE BISCUITS)! This will definitely be a regular place to visit.

We were from out of town and stopped here to ask about catering and using their space for a gathering place after a funeral service. It was an odd request for a Saturday before Labor Day and we needed the space on Labor Day. They were so kind — it was Tamela’s only day off but she and her husband Tracy agreed to help us out. We took some catfish and shrimp back to the hotel that evening and it was amazing. I knew we made a good choice. It was a difficult time for us and their hospitality and food made it special and hassle free. Everything was set up when our group arrived and the food was excellent. Mac and cheese, fried chicken, baked chicken, cornbread. I’m not a big sweets fan but Tamela made a key lime cake and a peach cobbler and I ate both! Home cooking at it’s finest.
