Made an appointment 1 hour before arrival and I was also very late but she still
accommodated me right away with a smile.
Definitely switching over from my old hair stylist to here.

When I came here for the first time I was greeted by Rachel, she is a beautiful Korean lady. The first haircut I got from her was nice, so I decided to go back and possibly making this my permanent hair salon. But the next couple of times I went back there, the haircuts seemed rushed and Rachel didn’t seem as friendly as the first I met her.
Now I moved to a different place, I probably wouldn’t go back to Rachel’s store anymore but I wish her the best, she is a good owner.

I was recommended by a friend to give Rachel after getting my hair ruined by another stylist. My hair was an orange ombré walking into Rachel’s hair salon and three hours later, I walked out with a beautiful ash brown ombré. Getting an appointment with Rachel was extremely easy, I called and came in on the same day. She seems really flexible with her schedule and works efficiently with all her clients. Rachel really puts a lot of effort into your hair, like I’ve never seen any other stylists do before. After sitting down in the seat and telling her that I just wanted to get rid of the orange, she got to work immediately and worked wonders on my hair. The end result almost made me cry, as this it was exactly the look that I was going for. I am soooo thankful for Rachel for saving my then disgusting hair. I ended up paying $ 150 for some highlights, an ombré, a trim, and a quick style. I highly recommend this place and will only trust Rachel with my hair for the rest of my life.

They’re okay. I typically go to Eugene’s, but I’m pretty horrible about booking appointments ahead of time. By the time I need to get my haircut before an event, Eugene’s all already booked.
As a result I’ve had to experiment with other places such as this one. I found Bona Hair Click more flexible with my schedule than other places. And it was cheaper than Eugene’s. $ 20 for a guy’s haircut. I was pretty happy with the haircut and the extra $ 10 saved, but one of my sisters wasn’t a huge fan of the cut, so take my review with a grain of salt.
I’d be fine with coming back.

Been coming here for a few years, so I feel like I am fit to judge Bona. Rachel is the owner, and I’ve been getting my men’s hair cut exclusively from her. Rachel works there full time, and an older white woman is there occasionally who I think rents out a chair from Rachel. The older white woman seems to have her own clients. Most of the clients at Bona are asian and serviced by Rachel. Rachel is the only person present to cut hair most of the time. She’s pretty consistently multi tasking and trying to dye a woman’s hair and then squeeze in a men’s haircut.
When I first started coming to Bona, Rachel wasn’t too busy and was able to take her time. She’d make sure each side of the face was even, etc. Nowadays, she’s always in a rush. If you see one or two people sitting in the waiting area, then you can expect Rachel to give you a really subpar haircut. She’ll rush through the cut and leave your haircut uneven with visible choppy patches. When she’s in a rush she wont even bother to bend down and see how your haircut looks from the straight on perspective. She just wants your butt out of the chair. I’ve gotten really terrible haircuts from her the past six months, but it’s not like I can complain to her about her work. She might poke me with her scissors or give me an even worse cut the next time I’m there. I’m looking to go somewhere else now.
Only way I would continue coming back here is if Rachel spaced her cilents farther apart and took her time.

Rachel is great and knows her stuff!!! I’ve been her client over a year now, and I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking to upgrade their look. I am especially happy w/​my hair coloring (hate these gray hair) and haircuts! Thanks Rachel!!!

Been going to Bona Hair Click for a few years now. Was referred here by a friend and Rachel is as good as it gets.
She is super friendly, and an expert stylist. My friend recommended Rachel and if you’re a guy looking for a good hair stylist, she does an amazing job with guy cuts.
The customer care there is the best, and for ONLY $ 20 she not only washes your hair before your hair cut, but after as well and styles it for you. There’s absolutely no other place that will treat you that well for that kind of price.
Would give +6 stars if I could, she’s that great!

Rachel is a fantastic stylist who is so professional. She did my hair cured quickly and perfectly, that’s exactly what I want. She is nice and beautiful!

Took 5 and ½ hours to do my bleach job. Just shouldnt have taken that long. Should have followed the reviews and had Rachel and Annie do it instead. Water kept gushing in my ears as the back of my hair was pulled and ripped out during washing. The bleach job came out nice. The hair is blonder than I expected which is awesome.
When it was starting to burn and hurt she took a look at it said its ok and just left it burning. First time i asked to have it checked, after the bleach was on my hair for over an hour, I asked her to check it and she just flat out wouldnt do it. I am so lucky my hair didnt get fried.
When it was time to cut I was out of time and frankly glad since there was no way I was going to trust her with scissors… I thought it was really unprofessional the way she dished on my old hair dresser. If It wasnt an hour ½ drive to see her id just stay with her.

So-​so stylists are a dime a dozen.
Good stylists are uncommon.
Excellent stylists are an endangered species.
Finding a stylist who can handle the fuzzy mess sitting on my head was not an easy task. I’ve stuck with the same barber for over 10 years before I outgrew the cliché rock-​hard spiky Asian fro and needed a softer look.
In came Rachel, to whom I was referred by a friend back in May 2009. With any stylist, it took a few visits before she got used to my hair and wants, and I needed to learn how to make adjustments in giving instructions on what I wanted.
My hair on average requires a cut every 4 weeks, somehow Rachel’s cut can last an extra week before it becomes unruly and unmanageable. Most importantly, she listens to what you’re requesting; and no matter how tight her schedule is, she gives you time to look over your new cut, happily obliges to make adjustments, and shampoos before and after the cut.
The shop is relatively new with clean and tidy facilities. Half of the chairs are rented to another stylist. Definitely make an appointment or at least call several hours in advance. Call the listed number any time and if the shop’s not open, the number forwards to Rachel’s cell!
Rachel definitely goes on the endangered species list, and I’ll certainly be sticking with this stylist for as long as I can.

I’ve been going to this salon for 2 years and I don’t think I’ll stop unless I move really far away. I have Rachel cut my hair and she is a fantastic stylist! Short or long hair, she always knows just what to do w/​your hair!

I love this place. I am so glad I found this place. I use to drive out to Los Angeles to get my haircut because I am so picky about my hair. I decided to try this place next to my house and i’m very happy about the service and especially my haircuts. No more long drives.
I get my haircut by Rachel she is really nice and a very good stylist. I even took my girlfriend there and she seems to love her hair every time she goes there.
I usually just get a simple cut every two to four weeks. My girlfriend goes in for coloring or to straighten her hair. I am surprised I am the first to post this on Unilocal.
