At the front, Ysenia and King handled the paperwork and it didn’t feel like pulling teeth asking them insurance questions.
Next, Roger did a fantastic job taking my X-​rays. Like a well-​trained Jedi Master, he made conversation with me, and without even knowing, I already had the lead vest and neckguard on, biting down on film and mentally smiling at their state of the art digital x-​ray machine.
I moved on to the next room, where my x-​rays were promptly pulled up on the nearby screen like something out of a sci-​fi movie. Rather than dumping me in the room and walking off like I’ve seen so many dental «professionals» do in the past, Roger made sure my transition to Dr. Wong and Richard was seamless.
Dr. Wong was considerate and had a sense of humor as he asked thorough questions to ensure the best possible treatment. For example, I told him I had plans in a few hours, and he said that he would switch to a local anesthetic that wears off quicker. It’s this kind of patient involvement that I look for. At the same time, Richard was completely vigilant and was in tune with Dr. Wong’s movements. Before I knew it, my cavity was filled and Richard was helping me rinse out with the suction.
