This really isn’t a supermarket. It is more like a large bodega. The store does not look clean and has an unpleasant odor.

C-Town is the«hood» supermarket chain. If there is a C-Town within your zip code, then your town isn’t up and coming. But Hackensack is a quandary. You have multi-million dollar homes on Summit Avenue and pricey condos on Prospect. Yet only a few blocks away you have C-Town. This particular location is difficult to differentiate from the interior but the parking lot and being a block from the county courthouse make this location posh. If you’re using Unilocal, then you’ll probably never step foot in a place like this. I’m not writing this review for you. I’m writing this review for that hood personality that one day joins Unilocal. I want that person to write a review too. They won’t tell you about what you won’t find here(like vegetarian vitamins or Bavarian cheese). They’ll give it to you straight…

Gross. And Ew. And Yuck. Get my drift? I ran in on a snowy day just to grab bread on my way home from work since it was so close to my office. Mistake! The store smells bad, the employees are rude, and most of the products are expired. The bread I found was not expired, but still managed to get severely moldy within 24 hours. I wouldn’t go here unless it’s an emergency… and even then, you’re better off almost anywhere else. Cash only, crazy people in parking lot.
