My daughter received a doc band from this location. The staff was wonderful to deal with and my daughter enjoys going to her appointments. The band is due to be removed shortly, and I have seen a significant improvement in the shape of her head. My daughter’s problem was that she had flatness in the back of her head. I am happy with the result of the Doc Band so far.

I signed my daughter up for doc band. However, that was a big mistake and I would have stopped it if my insurance did not already pay for it. First, I don’t think it should be an occupational therapist examining. I was told when they come in for visits, they will do neck and range of motion exercises which they didn’t, they focus on the doc band. The expectation is for my baby to wear the doc band 23 hours a day. The occupational therapists there do not understand that it is not possible in all babies and that parents do the best they can to have it on. Getting an appointment you desire is impossible even though they state in the first appointment they have flexible late hours. There are studies out there that the head band doesn’t really have significant effects of treatment. But really, this office is just bad with how they function. They have no sense of care.
