Duct Mate

I was very pleased with my entire experience with Duct Mate. Pat was very helpful over the phone. I just bought a new place so I wanted to have the system looked at to make sure it was running ok. Pat suggested making a seasonal service appt. rather than having an estimate done. I appreciate that she was trying to save me money. She sent the CIO to my building right away. Joe and his son came early and walked me through everything with my heating and ac system. They changed my filter and washed the old one so I had a spare. They even showed me how to program the system and took a look at my hot water heater. Very professional and polite. Suggested a seasonal service appt. every other year. Family run business was a plus. Highly recommend and will definitely be using them in the future.

As any homeowner is likely aware searching for and ultimately choosing a specialized contractor can be a daunting task. There seems to be no limit to the list of unscrupulous contractors at every turn. After researching for quite some time I decided to contract Duct Mate To fabricate some custom duct work connections in my finished basement.
Pricing was very fair compared to at least three other HVAC contractors I spoke with, and most importantly the quality of the final result was perfect. This was a very difficult transition piece with multiple angles, reductions, and expansions In the main trunk line off of the furnace. There are many variables to consider When changing the dimensions in duct-​work that can easily affect the heating and cooling of the entire house including air velocity, air volume, and resistance.
Now that the new part is installed and it is getting colder by the day here in New Jersey I can say with confidence that the new Ductwork has not noticeably affected my heat in any way and I now have excellent vertical clearance in my basement! I would recommend them for any heating or cooling job.

I had Duct Mate install my central air a few years back and it was the best investment I ever made. They did a high effeciency AC for me (I’m very conscious about the enviroment… drive a Prius, use green cleaning products, etc) and I couldn’t be happier. Not only is my house set to 68 degrees for the whole summer, but my electric bill has been minimized! Saves the environment and saves me money!!! Joe here is the best, he came to my house with Brian and planned the whole thing out, measuring each room and looking at how the furniture was set up to maximize our comfort from the AC (for vent placments). They are both super knowledgeable and very honest. Joe is a straight shooter. I highly recommend him and his company for any of your heating and air conditioning needs!
