Escape Room NJ

Went to escape the room with a couple friends and really enjoyed it. Would recommend to anyone who is down to have a good time. The other side offers lots of mind teasers and its right in Hackensack, easy location to get to and parking to go in and out with ease.

This was the first escape room for some of us and some had done this before in a different location. We booked the room with a group of 8 and were surprised to see that another group of 4 had been added when we arrived. There was one room. It was interesting and clearly someone had put a lot of thought into creating the challenge. Most of the clues led to opening combination locks– there were many of them. Although we were told that a greater number of people made it easier to solve the clues and escape, I think that it made it more difficult and there were way too many different puzzles and questions to solve in an hour. There were at least 15 puzzles to solve so if you were to do it sequentially you would need to average better than 4 min per puzzle which would be difficult under any circumstances.
On the whole, it was a fun activity. The place is still new and I think it has a lot of potential. Hopefully they will continue to modify and improve what they have already done.

Such a great experience! We had a group of 8, and 4 others were booked for the same time but they were helpful. The room is full of excitement, energy from every object in the room. It’s great to do with family and friends. It wasn’t scary but still thrilling. We made it out of the room with 2 minutes left. Teamwork is key! Prices are reasonable, staff is friendly, parking available. If you and friends are contemplating going to the Escape Room in Hackensack, don’t wait any longer, book it and have a great time!

Definitely a challenge! First experience and we were on edge the entire time. No free giveaways in this one. We were five people and did not escape. One of us did escape the room in NYC — and he said it was a comparable experience. Call in and ask for a discounted time — staff was super helpful. Definitely recommend! A+

I signed up to visit this place with my cousins the night after Thanksgiving. This was the most difficult escape room I have visited thus far and it happens to be right in Bergen County. We did the horror room, which had a few good scares, but nothing too bad. The game was pretty lock heavy, featuring many different combination locks for us to figure out using clues hidden in the room.
Unlike other places, this escape room marks objects that have nothing to do with the puzzle with an orange dot. I have mixed feelings about it. It is frustrating when you mess with something that has nothing to do with the game. But these dots also makes it much easier since anything without an orange dot is clearly something you should examine. Despite this we were still unable to escape the room. I would definitely return once they open up some new rooms

Don’t be fooled when you enter into Kid’s Rule Play Area for kids. This escape room is super challenging, but loads of fun! We didn’t get to escape, but I absolutely cannot wait to try again. Apparently, they change the room every three months!

Went with the family and we had a great time. This wasn’t our first Escape the Room – but it was our hardest yet, and the first we couldn’t solve. Great puzzles (and lots of them) and great atmosphere. We’ll definitely come back for the next room. I only wish they had more rooms. I’ll add a pic as soon as our pic is added to their Instagram.
Tip: Park in front, and call when you’re there.

What a great experience! I went with my family and we all were amazed with the creativity of the room. It really challenges you to work together and think outside the box. Defiantly something you need to try. Although we didn’t solve the room we came close. I can’t wait to see what’s to come with the next escape room!!!

So much fun, and the host was great friendly. I would definitely recommend going. Not much I can say without spoiling it. It’s very challenging and it had some surprising elements. Be ready and bring your crew.

We went as a group of 6, none having experienced an Escape Room before. It was fantastic! We are tired of the same old, bowling, movies, and mini golf outings. This is a completely different experience and it blew us away!
Kudos to Jeff and the staff who were super attentive and made us feel very comfortable.
The actually room was an awesome combo of mystery, suspense, team work and excitement.
We will absolutely be back to try out the other room and versions!

This was my first time trying an escape room and I wasn’t disappointed! Such a fun idea, and so well put together. It was a great way to spend an evening with friends and family, and made for a much better interactive night than going to the movies! We had a blast, and I would certainly try it again (it was much more challenging than I had anticipated!).

Went here last night with my wife, mother and sisters. It was great! I’ve never actually been to an escape room before but I would definitely go again. The room was scary and the puzzles were difficult but I really loved the fact that we had to really think about the clues in order to move forward. I would highly recommend this for a fun night out with friends.

What a great way to spend some time with family or friends! Creative genius. The setting and clues were well thought out down to the last detail.
We were 9 people and we had a blast! Well worth the money. So if you are looking for something out of the ordinary to do, you won’t be disappointed!

We went as a group not sure what to expect. Had a blast! It’s both innovative, challenging & exciting.
There was never a dull moment. 2 of us came from Florida to visit and agreed we would want to do this again when we come back.
I have to add the staff are amazing and the owner Jeff is hands on making the experience even better.
A lot of heart & hard work goes into everything they do.
**We had 11 people in our group & a few of us had not met everyone prior to showing up. ** which was not an issue at all.
