The food sucks!!! Their chicharron tastes nasty, their corn arepa tastes pasty and not like it used to, now this place used to sell great food, I guess they got a new Chef because the quality of the food went down.

My favorite latin restaurant in Hackensack. Best fried red snapper, I think in all of bergen county. I’m in there atleast 4 – 5 times a month. I’m not hispanic but for the red snapper I’ll listen to spanish music and watch telemundo all day.

Please note that I’m only commenting about their amazingly delicious café con leche which my hispanic friend had introduced me to. It’s undoubtedly the best café con leche in Hackensack and a small cup only costs $ 1!!! I’ve been hooked to it ever since I tried it that every weekend I buy my coffee exclusively from Mi Tierrita. You might feel intimidated to enter this latin bar restaurant if you are not hispanic, but all you have to do is go to the bar and ask for «café con leche para llevar» to order coffee for take out.
